  • i think this movie is wonderful, unique & woefully underrated.

    marlon brando & arthur penn: RIP babes;

    :o)

  • One of the worst movies ever made............

  • Brando at his best "Lee Clayton"

  • Great performances from Brando and Nicolson.

  • indian pipel jaooooooooooo uay kil

  • U didn't read what I wrote...Brando was so damn strange and weird on the set of Missouri Breaks..THEY gave up on him....Penn didn't want to direct him no more..Brando would sit in a river stream..and didn't come out until he got his way....THIS was a big FLOP with Critics and Movie GOERS....IT was a bomb. Because Brando had that special knack of coming to a picture set and just shitting everywhere...Case in Point...Coppola WAS NOT expecting a bald headed 300 plus pound tube of goo...Brando!!!

  • Well the late great Arthur Penn..said on James Lipton's Actor's Studio..that Brando REFUSED to take direction...and Penn just gave up...on Missouri Breaks..IT IS one of the oddest flics ever made. U have the right to your opinions about this flic..JOHN WILLIAMS music is pretty good...and even it is one of his quirks...No matter how you look at this film...everytime Brando and his weird ways...comes onto the screen..this film comes to a fucking halt. Bad Film.

  • @ToddCastTV Don't speak to my ghost, he is sleeping =] , Nah just a great character study. An awesome movie for people to see these fine thesbians closest to their personalities is all.

  • I wouldn't be too hard on this film. Nicholson didn't have much to do, but he came thru here and there. Brando was great. Loved the bizarre personality he brought to R.E.L. Clayton. Kinda like a Col. Kurtz with a sense of humor.

  • Dig deep and you will find everything you need in this film, a hidden gem.

  • @StephenTatumActing what doth though mean Stephen? Inquiring minds wanna know.

  • .....and THE ELETRICFIEING PUBLIC STAYED AWAY!!! THIS WAS A COMPLETE 100% DIASTER of a flic. A. Penn lost control of this crap when Marlon Brando didn't show up on the set, HE WAS THERE, but never did what Penn ask. Brando did what he wanted.

    ONLY GOOD thing about Mb is John Williams quirky score.

  • @UFOSPACE1999 My Mom Loves this film as many others, got a nice cult following.

  • @UFOSPACE1999 I gotta disagree with you. I feel that this is the most underrated, if not the greatest Western ever made, HANDS DOWN. The Man with No Name series is highly overrated, as are most Spaghetti Westerns, (seeing as the dialogue and character development are sorry), John Ford is cool, but too Puritan, Tombstone is great, but still doesn't quite match up with this. It's unique and has everything you'd want. And Brando should be allowed to do his own thing, he's a genius.

  • @Tommyc1923 I'm a Brando fan, yet there is a fine line between "genious" and "crazy", and there is a fine line between "strange" and "disturbed".

  • @Tommyc1923 I'm a Brando fan, yet there is a fine line between "genious" and "crazy", and there is a fine line between "strange" and "disturbed". But its hard to argue his intense screen presence. Imo, he was a scene stealer......no matter who else was on screen with him, your eyes were on Brando. Especially the "young Brando".
