  • haha nice vid, but please tell your hubby to sharp your knives. For the others , a simple recepie....just use 1kg of salt put the chicken on top...and preheated over 200C - bake 1 and half hour and its done

  • Thought it was chinese inspired dish - similar to a HAKKA chinese style called Salt crusted Chicken

  • you find inside all supermarket low price salt in bag of 1kg to prepare this recipe and buy the special "fleur de sel" for example from Camargue, I mean the top for the taste by 125g for everyday!

  • Yes, it is healthy because you do not eat the salt crust. According to MaryJose, the salt crust is an oven for the chicken to help maintain its delicious flavor (she stated this fact in the recipe video: Daurade in the salt crust.)
