supposedly, 20% or medical cost is administrative in USA, compared to maybe 5% in countries with single payer/universal health coverage. BTW, Cortese is dead wrong about Mass. coverage. To get IND coverage as good as a group plan at $450/mo costs about $750 per month. Hardly a good value for the money.

What makes you think tht the health care here is better than other coutries? The W. H. O. ranked us as #37 in the world in the qualty of heatlhc care. Not only do we endure the most expensive system in the world, it is certainly not the best or even close to it.
