  • This is what Europe's all bout :D FREEDOM

  • Unfortunately.... as a nation we are quite stupid about safety.... If this happened, there WOULD be injuries here in America. And even though it WOULD be the guest (Customer)'s fault, they would still try to sue because "It happened"...

It's kinda neat to see how people there actually listen to the operator or 'showman'. I know it's common sense not to jump onto or off of a ride when it's moving, but here in America..... people have NO common sense... :<

    This is a neat video.

  • @RocketRodder

Yes we hear story's like that people putting their cat in a dishwasher! The cat died and they ask the dishwasher maker 10 milion dollar for the damage!!! That's nuts! Or like a wet floor at the MC Donalds. In europe we have that kind of story's not. And happy with it because every mistake you make cost millions of dollers.

  • i jus wish we had all these rides in the usa..point blank..i love the interaction with guest on rides from the showmen,,the techno music and lights...

  • wie weet de naam van het liedje die je bij de Mega Dance Hoort laat het me alsjeblieft weten

  • You know another thing about Europe is that the ride at your fairs and carnivals are mostly the same but yours are faster and have longer runs. Like the hully gully, are rides like that just spin go up go and thats it. But yours does all that crazy and fun , like having the disc of the ride stop and the main axis still spinning. We go to your video of the mack Hully Gully and other videos of are tibutants and see what I mean

  • Standing on the machine by the breaker or standing in rides. Jump on the machine even its not stopped to get a car. Yes! Thats fair! Some machine built now with line ups but I dont like that. That is more for in themeparks. On the fair you must fight to get in a attraktion! I will show you this year more like this stuff.

BTW I have seen people lining up under a top scan! So he can land and go out go in and further! :)

  • All carnival rides must have line or fences in the USA. Its a law. Because some dumb Amercain would just stand right in front of it or jump off the ride at full speed if there was no safety bar and some times, people even unlatch the bar.And some times when the bar is unlatched people will jump of and ether have very bad injury or even death! So in my view. People in Eourpe are more careful about stuff like this. But not always, most of the time.

  • I hope not that people jumping on a machine at full speed. Is very dumb :)

  • Ride safety is always a big concern over here. If we didn't have safety restraints then people would be suing the shows left, right and centre. It's even worse when such an incident hits the news. Especially when it's not in the show's favour. Then again we have people here who have very little common sense with regards to ride safety.

  • I know that problem. Over here the most incedents are fault by the costumer. Sometimes the showmen but here big too in the newspapers

  • I'm from Canada and their really isn't much issue of safety in my opinion. On rides like Wisdom's Gravitron (Starship 2000) and other rides, there are usually no safety bars. Some rides like most Himalaya's (especially Reverchon Himalaya) just have a bar infront of you. It acts more as a bar to hold on to then an actually safety restraint. Most spin rides won't have any safety restraints due to the fact the the G forces alone keep you buckled into the seats.

  • But how diffrent is Canada from the USA?

Here in Europe there are more and more safety rules. Rules you think?!?!?!?

For example. The Break Dance has here 2 locks. Because maybe someone can open the safetybar at the ride. Who wants to open a safetybar when you still riding?! 20 years is never happend and now in 2010 is it compelled. They wanna look like the USA :S

  • Well unfortunately Canada doesn't make rides and our owners and leasers abide by all rules by the manufacturer. We have lots of Chance (which is American) and the only European manufacturers would be KMG and Technical Park. As much as I want "Freedom" in rides, the faster and better the rides get, I don't care if they add more restraints, I want to have fun, not to be thrown into the air. As much as I sound like an American in safety rules, there's a fine line between having fun and dying.

  • Haha ;)

  • Maybe you not but for childeren is it a nice ride

  • It isnt the most populair ride. But some people are very interesting looking to a Butterfly attraction. How its called in England and the USA. Cappilair?

  • Are you talking about the Caterpillar ride made by Hyla F. Maynes?

  • Not that I know ;) I dont know the showmen over there by name. But the ride wil called in Holland: Rups. Germany: Rauphe. And in the USA Caterpillar. Just for to know ;)

  • Yeah, over here it's a little different. We don't have showman, we have large and small companies that either lease or buy these rides. We put on less of a "show". Example, less lights, strobes, special effects, ride announcers saying "Do you want to faster!!", etc. But when we do, it's a people pleaser. Hyla F. Maynes designed the North American Caterpillar which eventually transformed into your everyday Himalaya type ride.

  • name of the song pleas naam van het liedje alsjeblieft dat je in het begin hoort

  • I like it! I'd try it!

  • safety?

  • Its not TOO fast so I'm not worried about no safety bars on this ride. :)

  • Okay, that nice! So you can sleep well tonight? :) :D

  • I know what you mean!

  • WTF no satefy bars!? xD

  • "Yes my dear American friends. There are no safety bars on it and thats normal in Europe....."

LMAO thats so funny and true! ;)

  • Die vent zal na een dag wel een lamme arm krijgen xd.
