Ive played the demo on xbox. This game totally sucks. Maybe youll love it when you liked God of War, but this is not Dragon Age.

I hate these "innovative new gameplay-ideas" that nobody wants. Comicgraphic, with boring fights where you just have to spam one trigger. great -.-

Why the hell should I even roleplay like shown in the trailer, if this game is so damn easy when you just spam your warriors buttons.

This demo was the most depressing thing Ive ever played. Ill wait for Mass Effect 3...

First, I may be being stupid here, but this video was made in december 2010, which means that the game was probably still in beta stages. It's the same with most games, they show you a demo of what it will have in it, the finished product (usually) looks vastly better.

Graphic look like fucking shit, not surprising for a Bioware game, but this takes the price. User Interface is made out of shit too.

Also, maybe show some gameplay when you play on harder difficulties, where there is actually friendly fire?

oh dear, the interface is just terrible here. look at the player icons and those ugly bars. origins had a great design for it with circular status borders around the icons, these bars just clog up the screen. and i'm not so keen on the quickbars either. ugh.

@squiremarr I somewhat agree. The icons look more at home in a Sci-Fi rpg with they smooth colors, shape etc. I dunno, can't explain it.

I did hate the circular HP and Mana though, these bars are better in my book. You can see much quicker if someone is low on HP or mana with these bright bars.

@lilORANG Does this look like Diablo or Torchlight to you? No, it doesn't! Cause it's the same combat like in DA:O made more responsive, faster and a bit more animated! That's all they've done to it, put it on fast froward, made some more flashy moves and gave it smoother controls and everyone goes on and about how this isn't the same combat system! Figures!

@EBTcraft15 You couldn't be more wrong.  This video shows combat for the PC version, not the CONSOLES. The console versions have been dummed down, and yes, they play like an action RPG like Fable or Diablo.

@Stormyse There are death blows, even one for mages if you go melee with a staff. For the graphics, I'd not be so sure, as they stated it's the style they're going for.

The guy at the end of the video holding magic or whatever it is. I'm thinking that it's Morrigan's Son because at the end she offers something for you, because one Grey Warden must be sacrificed in order to kill the Archdemon so her child bears the taint of darkspawn so You and Allistair don't die. But, the child doesn't die either, the only thing is that Morrigan dissapears and you never see her again.. Well until you get Witch Hunt (from Downloadable Content). I hope this piece of info helps.

@Punklndr I'd have to say that neither of them are very realistic. I mean aside from the whole MAGIC aspect of it, in fights people don't generally attack one person and ignore everyone else, or have perfectly synchronized chops, or stand in one place.

Wow this looks crazy! Cooler spells and animations and faster, more furious battles make Dragon Age look kickass!

The battle system is great, but I'm sad they make me play as Hawke. I mean he's cool, but I miss my warden. Being an elf or human and making my own look. I actually like being silent too, because the responses are exact, which was interesting. I wish I could make my own character, because this style is Mass Effect's and Mass Effect does it better. But I still cant wait for DA2!

You can have that action RPG, like the first one, or that tatical pause and play, also like the first one. Is it because it's faster now? Or that it looks different? Or that the character has MORE fighting stances? Please tell me so I can see any fault on this. Because as someone that has played Dragon Age and LOVED it I can't see one problem with this.
