  • mean looking glammed out german cross dressers playing sabbath-like heavy rock back in 1974. Whats not to like(besides the clothing)?

  • i've posted this clip on facebook 3 or 4 times over the last couple of years.

  • @chadchainsaw pretty simplistic... 'you wanna marry.. marry me but I am the Tiger.. I gotta be free' 'I won't do it... won't do it... etc. etc.

  • Bob Ross' heavy rockin' glam afro'd german brother.

  • @epicstl Don't forget Jeff Lynne.

  • TIGER ROCK is an amazing album, part-glam-part-proto-metal...!!!

  • just the best whitey fro ever!

  • @coathangermidwife hehe.. naw, Gun doing 'Race with the Devil' had a white dude sporting a pretty funky fro! lol!

  • @sirlordwhitman hehe yeh true, but you cant beat Mr Smith, just whats he's wearing alone makes this the best whitey fro ever!

    and there Germans!

  • @sirlordwhitman what about the guy in MC5??? ;)

  • @rickfan1964 eah... not a very clean cut sphere.. a little nappy. Plus his gapped teeth made things worse. What about the drummer for Grand Funk??

  • @coathangermidwife Check out the guy from "The average white band" Hamish Stuart in the 70's!

  • Just tooo good for his time

  • AWESOME

  • Oh my god, a death metal riff in 1972??

    How can this be possible??

To think Led Zeppelin started it all... pfffth!!

  • Actually it was Blue Cheer.

  • Actually it was Link Wray.

  • Actually it was Dr. Ross (cat's squirrel)

  • Touche.

  • @sirlordwhitman

Interesting and funny the same, but this is rather one dimensional rock, these kind of riffs were done way better by the likes of The Stooges and Hawkwind.

  • @PAULLONDEN Ya, but those power chords are played real freakin fast. Stooges and Hawkwind? Maybe Raw Power comes a little close but it that album had a more punk/garage feel and Hawkwind- Maybe the live version of Master of the Universe on Space Ritual..which wasn't until 1973. One that closely matches Tiger Rock would be Highway Robbery's 'Fifteen' - look it up!

  • @sirlordwhitman dude sababth? are you fuckin kidding me zeppelin aint got shit on this

  • @bakersakter to be honest, Immigrant Song was the closest Zeppelin ever came to 'metal'.. with a touch heavier than 'Tiger Rock' despite it being shoved down our throats from classic rawk stations for the last several years.

  • Isnt this from 1972?

  • Bad Camberg's finest.

  • where can i get this album!!?

  • I also have this one....thanx to RockPalast.Woohhshhh

  • I have this Album. Thanks for the Vid!

  • man, they are so brave for just like, being around that tiger!

  • Man, that stuff SMOKES!

  • This was one of the loudest and hardest hitting hard rock LPs of the 1970s. Amazing stuff.

  • Nice to see this. I used to play their LP on my radio show in the 70's. Wish I still had the vinyl.
