Playseat is bottom of the barrel when it comes to simracing seats. RSeat is around the same price and more sturdy with more features. I have an Obutto, which is also budget, but is crammed with great features. Playseat has a centerbar mount, which only serves to get in the way when using pedals that have a clutch, and is not as well built as others in the same price range. The only reason they are popular is marketing.

@TheRaindropStudios I would say that a lot of people are put off by NASCAR racing because at first it looks like all they're doing is driving around in circles which does seem less appealing than something like an F1 race. I'm not exactly keen on NASCAR racing myself but I'm not going to insult you or anything just because you like something different. I just thought I'd point a stereotype among racing as all.

I don't get how this could ever be considered GOTY contender or any racing game for that matter. Racing sims are my favorite genre but lets face, it's extremely rare to get one revolutionary enough to deserve GOTY (GT1, & GT2 come to mind). F1 2011 is awesome & one of the most complete racing game packages but it's just one type of car. I love F1 but this game isn't better than GT5, Fm4, or shift 2, it may have better overall quality but it's not the best racing game

I never truly understood why people hate NASCAR. It is true to being an automotive sport but people who know nothing believe it's a bunch of rednecks driving behemoths. Driving 3k lb cars aren't easy to drive especially when everyone is drafting extremely close to one another. One mistake and you're screwed. To make matters worse the bottoms of the cars aren't flat so it's crippled aerodynamically compared to F1. Comedians like Jeff Dunham who aren't even funny are to blame.

@HappySongLover I dont hate NASCAR, and sure its challenging, but take everything you said about NASCAR and then add chicanes, hard braking, hard accelerating, hills, ext and that really ups the anti. Basically people mock NASCAR, usually because turning left at high speed with cars inchs away is done in many other types of racing, and they have to do right turns and chicanes as well.

GT5 can be hard, try getting gold on every event and license with all assists off while using a clutch and H-pattern shifter on realistic tyres for the car, that steps it up quite a bit.

Why are you playing this on PS3?. Its well known that the PS3 version is graphically horrible, its a graphical mess. I mean Codemasters did a horrible, fucking horrible job on the PS3 version (which was in reality just crappy 360 port to begin with). :( F1 2010 looked good on PS3 (it was equal with the 360), sadly the same can't be said for F1 2011 on PS3, which again, looks crap (nowhere close to the 360). Codemasters have gone graphically backwards not forward with F1 2011 on PS3. :(
