I'm sick of people giving Paul shit that he doesn't deserve. He wasn't the first to quit, Ringo was, then George, then John. Each one of them was begged to come back when they left, they didn't want to but they came back. Paul was the one who kept them together. "He's not getting his own way" rubbish. Allen Klein wasn't good and John, George, and Ringo didn't see it. And she even thought they could carry on without Paul, Paul was the one who fucking made the group after they quit touring.

And just a few years earlier John Lennon was saying in an interview that no matter what happened in the future they (the beatles) would always be doing something together every now and then. Only goes to show how things can change in a short time.

I agree it was just a natural progression and not anyone's fault. From what I have read, Linda did take a very protective role towards Paul's interests, which he probably encouraged. He wanted to be a nice guy and sometimes this has caused people to take unfair advantage of him, like Michael Jackson did. Pretty funny to hear these girls saying Linda would just use Paul and leave him flat, considering that Linda and Paul stayed married "till death do us part".

@Beat15LOVER because they're jealous, at that time I'm pretty sure not many girls liked it when a Beatle got a girlfriend. They like to think they have chance :)

And although I do get that Yoko would have annoyed the band members by trying to get an input in how their music should be, I do not think she is to blame for the break-up either.

Fact is that Lennon and McCartney had two strong personalities and different ideas on how things should be. And ofcourse Lennons drugs didn't help.

@Beat15LOVER Consider that was 1970 and Beatles break-up was just happened . There wasnt the comunications of now (internet on top). So they can only follow voices.
