AM General gave license to produce the HMMV to the Chinese.
Look carefully and you will see that it still has the military lighting.
The Russians, British, French and Brazil all have license to produce the military model.
And as long as they are sold only to the military market, no problem.
You can not buy a military model of the HMMV in the USA, the things are ground up for scrap as part of the agreement.
But you can buy a US built model from Mexico and bring it here.
