Have the new one go back in time

Or just have him regenerate again (cos that wouldn't be logical even for sci fi - they can just put out an announcement like "due to overwhelming numbers of fan comments we've decided to re-cast Tennant)

Or if they are really desperate put re-runs on

the new guy isn't too bad but even tho the doctor's meant to get younger after every regeneration he made a 20 year leap! he was too young too soon

for anyone that doesn't know, this song was recorded when Freddie Mercury was so sick and close to death he could barely walk, but when Brian May said he couldn't do, Freddie simply replied, "I'll fucking do it, darling."
