  • Would be more interesting if there were examples with tougher metals (40 HRC upwards).

    When threading harden materials 45 to 55hrc; I suggest a ground insert for maximum edge strength, possible reduction in the number of threading passes and appropriate SFM for the carbide grade -VP15TF (65to195 Sfm) VP10MF (100to230 Sfm)-.
