WHOA! I used to listen to this from when I was born until around six years old or so until my dad stopped playing it in his car... MEMORIES! I used to sing this with my sister when I was so little, hearing it for the first time in over eight years is absolutely amazing!! Such a nostalgic song for me. Funny thing is, I'm so into 50's and 60's music, and I completely forgot about this one!
This song is an english version of italian song "Ba ba baciami piccina", which was sung by Alberto Rabagliati in 1940 and written by R.Morbelli - L.Astore (words for english version by Eddie Stanley)
i have been looking for this for forever!!!! thank you!!!!! i remember listening to it when i watech dean martin and jerry lewis at my grandmas..im 15 (: i love this song!!!
I just LOVE listening to Rosie's voice! Been listening to this song over and over again since Sunday night. :DD She has such a wonderful voice! It's a shame she's not with us anymore. :'( Thanks for sharing!
The version on Mad Men had trumpets & brass, all the versions of this song I can find only have the keyboards, including the Mad Men soundtrack. Does anyone know where I can find the exact same version played on Mad Men?? Thanks!
@latramba The version used on the Mad Men epsiode is on the "The Rosemary Clooney Show: Songs from the Classic Television Series" album. You can get it on iTunes.
@LiamStainsby94 Yeah, I learned this song cuz I heard it on Mad Men and every time I play it I get lots of applause. Good music is good music! Even on accordion!
