thompson is better because it holds more ammo and has a higher rate of fire, al though the rate of fire is slower than the mp40's, it is still very accurate o semi-auto. the only thing i don't like about it is the stock... WAY TO BIG

mp40 is better but it jams a lot more than the thompson. the thompson is just weak and completely useless if not used at close range and when i say close range i mean no further than 50 meters. then again the thompsons cheaper then the mp40 so its possible to raise bigger armies . the mp40 has better range but it has a lot of recoil but that is alright because it has a slow rate of fire so it evens it out. they are both alright but the ppsh-41 beats them both.

The MP40 is the cooler looking one, but it has very low cap mags. The Thompson has a 1000 round drum mag that you can buy, but it has fake wood stock and grip so both are good guns for different reasons.

MP-40 shoots a lot slower and packed more of a punch that the Tommy was missing. Also the recoil is slightly less to, along with it being more portable. The Thompson shot so fast, the burst was over before it even started. Also the jamming mechanism was notorious for jamming, so you had to have the spring perfectly in there and a little bit of dirt could jam it up. It did however have a circle similar to the MP-40. But since the MP-40 shoots slower, it is arguable that the Tommy is more accurate

Comunque non si puo fare una comparazione, l'MP40 è una pistola calibro 9 mm modificata a mitra mentre il Thompson "nasce" gia mitra con un calibro piu potente e differente. Il paragone non regge con le armi vere, poi nel soft air puoi preferire cio che vuoi.

Well exally every "stat" you make doesnt make any sense , FPS is changeable with another spring, you can practice your reloads and rof can be changed too by using higher voltage battery's , weaker springs , better motors etc. btw Thompson M1928 Chicago Typewriter takes the cake.

Both guns are relyable and are made in a good quality. But 12 bullets more per clip and less recoil (because of 9mm instead of .45 ACP) made this gun better.

And don´t blame 9mm and say .45 has more stopping power. .50 BMG will have even more....

If you´re hit, you usually don´t care about if it´s a 9mm oder .45

the mp40 uses 32 and a 64 mags and only 500 RPM

There was no 150 round mag and rate of fire was 600-800 rpm. Thompson was 1kg heavier than MP40 and was harder to control. more rate of fire + larger bullet = more recoil. A lot of US-Soldiers builded their greasegun to 9mm, cause it was a lot better to control.
