what's this ethnic nonsense? no one should care where the fuck someone comes from. judge them on character instead. It's to pathetic for words to discard a group for that. There is no ethic group in the world that is more holy or good than any other one. Look into history and todays events to see what an abomination white people can be. Fuck race, fuck birth ground. and HAIL the Devil's Blood!
if sxelim and fartida le mouche would say frankly tat they are ARABS, would you still support them??? the image of pot smoking dutchmen sells better. ...a little bit satanism here , alittle bit nonsense obscurity there:the perfect marketing....the only true evil band nowadays are Sulphur Breath.nothing else.HAIL MYSELF !!!
@sverddansar77 what on earth has their backgrounds/ identity/ race/ other random personal bullshit got to do with anything? They produce something so deep and complex, which carries so much spiritual energy - not just lyrically, musically, conceptually and ideologically - more so than any other band around now-a-days, and at the same time they still manage to make it sound brilliant!. Quite honestly, they could be from the South fucking pole for all I care.
Yes, I would still support their stunning spiritual sounds, regardless of their ethnicity. I can visually see that there are non-white members in The Devil's Blood. I am not white either, so perhaps I would more readily not care that they are not ethnically Dutch. I cannot escape the lure of TDB. I never think of the individual members of the band, only their unison as a spiral into a gateway of something indescribable.
It takes really little effort to see that brother and sister have Arabic heritage. It takes a small glimpse at a picture, so everyone knows that, no need to say it ''frankly'', nor conceal it. And, to answer your question, yes I still support them. Gender, blood, ethnicity, 'difference' in general should never considered as a minus, especially in art. On the contrary, I think it's a huge blessing: it gives you a wider scope, a wiser perspective.
and if ever ''the image'' of an artist should ever be so relevant, as you seem to put it, well I also think that both of them are so more cool and fascinating this way! But this is irrelevant. What is relevant is that SL and his band are talented musicians, focused hard workers, and individuals burning with heart and passion! Their lyrical/musical progression from 'Come, Reap' to 'TTE' is something to be (Saturnalia-caly) celebrated, alone. Really, its something special.

@sverddansar77 Greetings,
It takes really little effort to see that brother and sister have Arabic heritage. It takes a small glimpse at a picture, so everyone knows that, no need to say it ''frankly'', nor conceal it. And, to answer your question, yes I still support them. Gender, blood, ethnicity, 'difference' in general should never considered as a minus, especially in art.
