If you really want to create a good HP-like commercial, you should consider making the effects in After Effects and then finishing it up in Sony Vegas. You'll be able to do much, much more!

Im starting off on vegas 9 pro and im rather new at it but in the end i want to be an expert at it.

And even though im new i just feel editing is my field and it can take me somewhere someday.

lol ME TOO! XD but i want to be anywhere in the field of filmmaking, not just editing, but w/e i get i'll be fine with.

that effect is very simple. you have 2 shots of yourself flicking your shirt (same angle, dif shirt). then when editing you cut both of the clips in half where you're about to flick and combine them together from there. lol sorry if thats confusing but its really easy. =)

lol sure actually i kinda wanted to do a tutorial for this. at most i'll make a tutorial on how to do the moving clips. all of the other effects you will have to learn on your own cuz i've been busy with school haha.

thanks XD. i recommend practicing using the pan/crop button on sony vegas cuz thats how i did the floating videos.

the shirt transition was easy. i had 2 shots of me flicking my shirt, different shirts and same camera angle and postion. then i cut both in half and put one in front of the other to give off that cool effect. :D
