@dirtyxmexican funny comment and it might be the case here, but interestingly this can also happen because of the speed limit of sound. People at different distances hear the music at different times and it sounds a mess. If you ever sit high up at a stadium where the speakers are at opposite ends and the audience is clapping to a beat you can actually see a wave of clapping hands start at the end closest to the speakers and progress away. It's actually really neat once you notice it.

monjaz1 asked what type of guitar it is. I believe it's a Martin D28, left handed model. He may have played Blackbird on it for the original track on the White Album. Famously before he got the Martin he played a mid-range Epiphone Texan, which he used for Yesterday. Don't know why he never went for a Gibson when John and George did - their matched pair of J160e's.
