Now, there is an online database, and if I could remember it, I would post it, but anyway, it has samples like this from scientists all over the world. I could care less about what Al Gore says, one of my professors in college studies Ice Core samples. That means he goes on glaciers and drills into the ice. Since these glaciers have been around for thousands of years, the further you go down, the longer you go back, obviously. Now, the way he can tell how warm or cold is by the pollen collected at each level. If there was a lot of pollen, then it was warm, not so much pollen, cold.

Global warming doesn't mean the world gets hotter. It means that the weather becomes more extreme. It means that it can be much colder and much warmer than it could have been before depending on the season. It's man-made because CO2 is a greenhouse gas, and with all the burning we've been doing and all the forests we've been cutting down, CO2 emmisions have gone way up. And even if it wasn't, it's still a problem.

Of course man hasn't put enough CO2 into the atmosphere to change the Climate, but then a butterfly can cause a hurricane, so CHAOS THEORY is alive.

Sorry. I did mean climate change, but my point is still true. In response to airborne, the sun is certainly part of the cause, but with all the CO2 we are emitting, and all the trees we are removing, we are creating a greenhouse effect, trapping extra heat that is increasing the mean surface temperature. And even if it wasn't the cause, it's not like cutting our extra carbon emission, planting trees, and cleaning things up overall is going to hurt us.

The polar ice is melting so fast that a new map had to be made to show who has what land now that more of the seabed is available to get more oil out of to burn and cause more global warming, so more seabed is available to drill, and on and on.
