@purellbb59 yes u can, but at the time this phone was out, i did not support pinch to zoom. Pinch to zoom did not come to android until the 2.1 update/ release. Motorola Droid only came with 2.0 at launch but got pinch to zoom later on with the 2.1 update.

Oh and there's no way I could just "unlock" this phone (is that like jailbreaking?? someone pls explain) because the only way I'm even getting rid of my trusty LG Shine for a new phone is because of it being time for my upgrade that AT&T gives ppl after so many months/yrs. So I actually have to go down to the AT&T store to get new phone, NOT buy online. My dad isn't a big fan of buying stuff online, anyway. So yeah.

I have AT&T and I'm so upset that I'd have to switch to Verizon just to get this phone. This phone seems awesome! My family's had Verizon before, and while it wasn't especially bad or anything, we still are so much happier with AT&T. Plus, my dad has an iPhone and all though it has glitched a few times, we are impressed with it. I guess I'll just have to wait until the Desire is onboard US AT&T and in the meantime, just get something mediocre like a Samsung Strive.

From a call quality perspective, yes. Plus, it's on Verizon's network, which is better (at least in my area) than AT&T. For now, the iPhone will still do more tricks, but the Droid is a better phone. It's all a matter of opinion, though. I'm not anti-Apple...I adore my iPods (all 4 of them), but I prefer a phone that works as a phone. In this respect, every generation of iPhone has been second best.

Have my motorola droid for sell in perfect condition. Selling it for $200 because I'm switching to sprint its cheaper lol. Verizon wireless customers only unless you want to unlock the phone. Comes with original charger and usb. My rating on the droid is a 10. Fast, 3d graphics and thousands of apps...browser speed is pretty quick. Mail me if your interested =)

Never used a droid but it looks clunky like most PCs. On looks alone, the iPone still kills it. Look how sharp the iPhone screen is at the beginning, colours pop! I can't knock the Droid too much since, like I said, never used one but based on this review I don't see what the hype is about. I'm sure it has cool features and all but my iPhone works seamlessly with all my other Apple products. I don't care if I'm considered a fan boy, I've owned more PC's than Macs and I will never go back.
