nice Yamaha's I've owned a blaster and it was hella fun i was gonna get a 88 warrior but i passed it up for a 89 Honda trx250r but i wish i had gotten that warrior the Honda is such a bitch to kick start
The Mojaves are pretty fast 4 there size aalso, i race an 02 mojave. And i have no problem passing any other 4wheeler that gets in my way. The mojave i race isnt stock tho.
the kid at the end on the blaster dosent know how to counter turn you lean into the corner toward the way your going not out the other side or out of the corner because that is how you roll it
Sounds like the rear end in the baster was shot. Warriors are pretty decent little rigs, not fast, but enough torque to be fun for messing around and ditch runnin.
@crossers125 Yes its a female rider on the blaster. Both machines were designed for different purposes. The Mojave is pretty quick for a 250 and is also fairly lightweight. The warrior will outrun the mojave in a drag race. The electric start of the warrior is a very nice feature over the Mojave's kickstart only. Honestly its just preference.
@dasjuden27 I agree. I had an '89 Mojave. STOCK it was good for 65 mph. With nothing more added than a Supertrapp exhaust, it hit the rev limiter at about 70 in 5th gear.
Later on I had a '98 Kawasaki KLR250 dual-sport bike with the same engine. Had I known then what I know now, I would have installed the KLR CDI box and gained 1500 more engine RPM.
With the KLR CDI and the extra 1500 rpm, I could have added a 2 or 3 tooth larger rear sprocket and gained both acceleration AND top speed.
@khonky I always wondered about it too. I figured because its a 2 stroke. I sold that blaster but we are looking for another one. I'll let you know if the next one sounds the same.
@ATVCrashDummies i respected until u said tht,the wolverine comes in a 350 also , and besides tht , the warriors completly diffrent i have the warrior my cuzin has the wolverine its no where near a warrior when it comes to drifts and overall ripin around, good in the mud tho the wolverine
@airsoftphil96 As a Wolverine 450 owner, I wouldn't say the Wolverine 450 necessarily better. But because it has bigger tires, 4wd, and more ground clearance, it's better for going where a Warrior can't.
The Warrior is quicker (mostly because of less weight and a 5 speed manual), it's the better handler (mostly because it's lighter), and it jumps better (lighter and better suspension).
But for all around riding, the Wolverine 450 is the more versatile of the two.
my warriors identical to that one. i love it

ATVCrashDummies 1 year ago
@crossers125 the warrior is "faster" as it is designed to compete with honda 400ex's and suzuki LTZ450's, but the mojave is a much better trail quad.

mojave's kick ass. i had a warrior too thay are sweet just i had alot of problems wit the timing. in my opinion the mojave is more fun

@MrBossilini They made the wolverine in a 350 and 450, look it up. If you are talking about in the video, I corrected myself.
