@prayfortruejustice Hi. Most of my shops that I know about are in Shanghai and the surrounding second tier cities in Jiangxu province. I can trade you Panda coins for American Eagles if you come this way. I am not certain when I will be in Beijing again. Send me a personal message...
@chamaflauge Dui. We should share information. Nice to see silver and gold stackers in Asia. Look for a slight dip in the spot price later this Summer. When it occurs - buy again! (Below $30 .oz).
@clearasvodka, get yourself a small handheld video camera. Not a phone, there are those that are probably even smaller than your phone, but take much better video since that's what they were designed for. Borrow one and look at the difference if you don't believe me.. Camera technique usually only has to do with holding it still so people can see.. That's why they have tripods and shoulder rests for pro gear. Otherwise keep up the good work, saves me a trip to china :)
@jonasfknf A mobile phone? Of course it is on my mobile phone! What you do think? I can walk around rural China with a HD cam and film crue? Get a clue. I was lucky they even let me film inside the shop in the first place. BTW - it is in 640 which is not bad quality. You should get your eyes checked....
Cheers 4 the vid. Recognise your moniker of course. Will sub.
I gave away 5 oz of Ag Perth Mint coins to a host chinese family in Zhengzhou earlier this year.
Learn some Mandarin and travel out of the main international tourist centers. That's my advice. I loved my 2 months of travel this year in China. Wish I was still there. But working in Sydney now. Bye.
@airwickairwick That is true. But this coin shop is on the up and up. I verified that the items I purchased were in fact real. The shop owner pulled out the box and packing from the Shanghai mint sealed. Also, many of the Australian items are legit. There are lots of Australian bullion items in China. Buy from a good shop and you will have no issues.....
@JOConnor100 No. I did not see any old Yuan coins. I only saw new Yuan Panda coins and lots of gold and silver bars + Aussie coins. There are some shops that sell old Yuan coins but most are a rip off. You really cannot trust some shops that sell the old coins because most are fake. I buy from reputable shops that can show me the shrink wrap and boxes directly from the Shanghai mint.
I used to think the Kookaburra was the most beautiful goverment issue coin,....but i just recieved my first 1oz panda from ebay the other day,.(2002) ....It really is something else,......the detail in the panda is awesome... I need more :) Great vid!!
I never understood why the hell these coins have a god damn face value on them. It's all about the weight of the metal, not some goddamn number.. :S Nice video anyway, thanks!
@TheBrotherMouzone Because its REAL money, its can't be manipulated like paper money or digital credit. What's mined is whats there & can't be created like paper money. Metals aside from being sound money have many uses from industrial, commercial & medical. God's money, you can trust!
@DutchBullion I agree. Chinese Panda coins are perhaps the best designed government issued bullion coin in existence today. For 2010 they created a whole new way of etching the Panda design. Notice that there is an illusion of black and white color for the Pandas. This process is the first of it's kind for silver coins.
Put a magnet on that stuff!

I wouldn't buy Chinese anything---they are masters of fraud and take pride in counterfeiting anything they can.

I was curious about what they sold in Chinese coin shops. Do they sell old Yuan silver and gold coins that were used in circulation?

@TheBrotherMouzone it's to document, that it is legal tender and official coinage by government. Government guaranties weight and purity then.
