I know how hunters wont work at that city. why? becaues at the start sonic get on it skate board but playing as a hunter make the game think he's on his skate board but he's not and it will make him float. p.s. if he thinks close to the emerald he thinks he's he's close to the emerald and the sky looks wired at 2:55

the truck uses a kind of adaptive speed system, this is made for chases in a fixed "rail", no matter how fast your are, the chaser (truck) will be always as fast as you, and if you make a mistake, the chaser is still at a high speed, catching you. This system is used in sonic adventure 1 and dx, and appears in the lost world stage with sonic. it's very buggy, specially for the dx pc version, but take in account it was the very first time they used this ina sonic game.

They play it through properly first obviously, and when they get bored of it they start hacking to see what weird stuff they can do,it can really add to replayability you know, the whole moon-jumping thing doesn't look so appealing to me though, I'm thinking more of model,texture and level hacks.

It means you can put pretty much any character you want in the game or change a level to have any sort of scenery you want, or put platforms and items in different places so the level plays differently
