Citybright, this is fantastic! Haven't seen you around in a while. I sure wish Derek would have kept competing. He was amazing. They were amazing together.

To answer a few questions, Aneta (pronounced Annetta) said she and Derek met at a World Cup where he was quite taken with her dancing ability. He obviously pursued her because not only did they both leave two-year partnerships for each other, but Derek agreed to represent Poland as a couple the entire time they were together! Pretty funny, an American living in London representing Poland won the World Latin Amateur Championship.

@Citybright02 they had more in relationship. apparently, aneta fell in love with derek eventually. in the blackpool latin round, aneta tried to kiss derek in the middle of rumba. derek was totally shocked.
