This project took me a while to do so don't expect to whip it out and have a perfect final project in just a few hours unless your really good at After Effects. Hey man, saw your videos a long while back. I always like the extra stuff you add in to give an entertaining feel to the VFX.

One suggestion to this one though: When you took flight, it would have been cool to see the camera shake a bit (even though I know everything is supposed to appear stable from within "the suit"). Just a small critique. Great job as always though bro.

Dude im not gonna lie, that was very well done, but videocopilot is there to teach you the tgechniques to do effects. you should copy the exact effect using the exact same shapes and colors ( including the tittle screen) or your not learning anything, your just copying

I recorded my own footage and followed step by step the Iron Man HUD effect tutorial at Video Copilot. It took me A LOT of time to do it at the time. Later I created the audio and synced it up with the visuals and Wallaa,....that's it.

Yeah, when I created this I followed the tutorial. At that time It took me a while to do it but I learned a lot in following the steps. Andrew Kramer most definately knows his stuff and without his tutorial(s) this video as well as many others wouldn't exist. So, thumbs up to Andrew Kramer and Video Copilot.

Where did you motion track the target and disc things on your chin to?

I actually motion tracked my nose. If you're doing this I suggest you to create a null object, then motion track your nose. Once finished click "Apply" (Dimensions to X and Y) and click "OK". After that click on "Edit Target" and choose the null object to transfer all tracking info. to that null object. From there you can parent any objects/layers to that null object and I'll follow it. You might have to use the "Pan Behind Tool" to decide your center point for each object.
