The cast is what duped me into renting this movie, but it's funny to watch the reviews after watching this train wreck of a movie. I'll give it to Uwe Boll, because of him and this movie, the ninjas are making a comeback in hollywood.

does Uwe Boll not know anything about fantasy lore?? you have the main character, brought up on a farm by a small villiage, and he is a master swordsman who knows matial arts? I don't think so!! added to this you have a bow and arrows that are impervious to water, ninja bodyguards who fight like the goddam power rangers and no blood on any of the weapons in the fights?
ROFL I agree 100% the movie made me laugh my ass off! the acting blew monkey nutz, and the plot had no direction! Lol the scenes had NO build up, and no point to them!! XD its so bad... 1/5
Who the hell names the main character Farmer. It's like Samurai Jack where everyone refers to him as Samurai until he goes into the future where some people call him jack. What horrible parents name their child after their future profession.
I would rather watch water boil than watch this lame movie ever again. I can't remember watching a movie this bad. It was absolutely AWFUL! I like jason statham, but he needs to stick with his usual roll of being a bad ass nowadays, not in medival days.

It has bad reviews everyone, on rotten tomatoes, imdb, it says how bad it was on wikipedia, and now the man! The movie man! holy shit i had to walk out of this movie. The whole time i couldnt belive it was serious. Worst movie I have ever seen, and im not lying it was so bad. At one point farmer throws a rope and it wraps around the krugs neck (which look like red ninja turtles) and it wraps itself aroun d like 10 times and he jumps on the other side of the rope and hungs it.
It is difficult to judge which is worse, kind of like deciding which of your children pisses you off the most, but if I have to choose, it would be "Dragon Wars." At least the special effects in "Name of the King" were decent, even if pretty much everything else blew chunks.
well i quess you would have to have played the game to realy like the movie i haven't seen the movie yet the adds look good but that might be because i played the game. Well thats is my thoughts
The director, Uwe Boll, is known for making travesties of movies, which have all been adapted from video games, and for some reason he always attracts notable talent. I won't be recommending this to anyone, but I will say that compared to Boll's House of the Dead, BloodRayne and, especially, Alone in the Dark, it's definately a step up.
But if you haven't seen any of those other movies, then I fully understand your thoughts on this one.
