  • this guy is awesome, i love how to kill ur neighbors dog, and hamlet, and frankenstein, those r the only ones i have seen so far but i plan to watch more :)

  • In Literature class in Form 5 we read Henry V, and I /loved/ it. I think I was the only person in the class who did.... *makes a confused face*

I Looooooooooooooooove Kenneth in the screen adaptation. It's brilliant how he gives life to what he does, in all he does. The world's a far better place for having Kenneth in it! *GRIN*

  • Would have been nice if you had also put down the year when the movie was made...

    Love the music

  • Yes you're right, but I've uploaded a more complete version since and remembered to put the dates in.

  • I hope so. He's the best!

  • Well, after all I think my favourite is still Much Ado About Nothing :-)

  • he's sooo sexy

  • Was Thompson a t.v. series or movie?

  • It was a comedy sketch show for TV (1988) There were 6 episodes.

  • Thank you

  • You wouldn't happen to have those 6 episodes, would you? I've been asking round, but all I can find are 4 sketches on YouTube.

  • whoa, i've seen ten of these... but my first was hamlet. i fell in love with Shakespeare through him. and i've fell in love with his acting.

    i need to see love's labour's lost...

    reccomendations:

much ado - must see. hilarious!

frankenstein - passionate! it's so strong.

how to kill your neighbor's dog - great lines in that one

and of course Hamlet. don't live another day without seeing that (if you havent already)

  • Thankyou TOF for this clip. I had never heard of this fine actor until I had to watch Hamlet. Even my children enjoyed his perfomance! they keep asking to see it again ! Kenneth Branagh has a new fan club.

  • Thank you. Not only one of our greatest actors of stage and screen, but also director, writer, and producer. You might be interested in Wallander coming to PBS in May, I believe.

  • Dude they really need to give this guy an Oscar. You cannot do four Shakespear movies and do them well and not get an Oscar for it. This is insane. BENIDICK RULES!!!!

  • I know, eh. That's just an insult to this fine actor. One of the best British actors of this time.

  • love it! thanks! all our kens in 6 minutes and a half :D

  • Fan-freakin'-tastic!!! I just love it. And I love that you used Patrick's driving theme from Sleuth. After I watch that movie, that melody plays in my mind for days. I like all your videos I have seen so far :)

  • i love this song

    and i love the film!!!

  • Well done again TOF!

  • Thanks Whovian2711

  • Tediousoldfools, your videos are becoming more and more elegant!

It's an excellent summary of KB's TV's and films' career. And what about theatre and radio? His energy is overflowing! If he can hold perfect health and enthusiasm for his work, we'll have years and years of enjoyment!

    Thank you, Tediousoldfools!

  • Thanks mom63423

I wish that it was complete. I don't think I'll ever get Alien Love Triangle

  • Fantastic! You're brilliant. Thank you!!!!!

  • Thanks rbkb075

  • Well done, TOF! Must say it's a change from Queen, but still good. I was working on a similar project myself, but it's good that one of us did it anyway! 5 stars and beyond!

  • I wish I had known. You will still put it up though (please). Thought I'd put some Patrick Doyle music on instead.

  • I hadn't got very far into the video anyway, so don't worry :) Oh good news! I think I've found my video problem!
