My brother and I tried over 100 times each to beat this guy. Never could do it. My friend came over and played this with me one day. After about an hour of racing together I tell him how hard this is and he wants try it. He beats it on like the 5th try. I was so mad and happy at the same time.
Now all you need is Goku and some other character like that fighting all over the place with big explosion, alot flash and we are all set for the most epic race ever.
best way to beat him is too watch him carefully then use either conker or pipsy and hit every zipper with a green flame and u did it it took me years to master this trick but it works the ds version was a total joke the n64 version is way better
I've struggled over beating wizpig for years! It's impossible unless using the right technique. Let go of acceleration just before all zippers and don't press it again until you start to see the smoke. If you start to accelerate too early it will stop the boost prematurely and you will probably hit the water, if this happens too often it's unlikely you will succeed. Try to aim for 31 second lap times, much slower than this and you won't be able to win. Good luck!

Racing Wizpig the first time is not hard. All you have to do is keep pressing A instead of holding it to go faster. I beat Wizpig like 10 times in one day because i was bored. I want to see someone unlock t.t. Now that's hard to do

Racing in Wizpig's Course is quite the same as racing in Bluey's Course. And believe me, a lot of people still have trouble trying to beat the walrus using Pipsy the second time he is raced. It's because her top speed is very low. She has lowest speed out of the other characters, which is why the walrus is the hardest boss for her to beat.

Future Fun Land is awesome but hard as hell. Silver Coin challenges are a major bitch.
Tip 3 is VITAL to winning. I tried a million times, then started straightening my path after every zipper; on my first try this time, I beat him with ease. It is especially important to apply on the second and third zippers.

@sneskegagama conker and banjo's game were already in development for the n64 when this came out Rare just put them on dkr to familiarize gamers with the characters (conker's game was actually a whole nother game from BFD called 12 Tails: Conker 64 it was to another cutesy platformer but the idea was scrapped when they felt that the games quality did not rareware's standards. Conker pocket tails is a totally different game and was not supposed to be Conkers first major release.

Well i prefer pupsy or diddy for any races, except with the hovercraft, somehow i prefer using a heavy but hight speed one like banjo, i beated this pig at 8 , when i was getting, at first was hard, the firs thing that got into my mind was "OMG, how in earth make that big fat pig , run like that o_O?", and obviusly, losed de first try, i learned the boost trick in the space world, after beating him in earth
This is a really easy race. By this point you should have Drumstick, who's the fastest racer in the game. Aside from that the accelerator boosts make it almost impossible to lose.
I remember when I was like 5 and I beat this game, this race was ridiculous because neither me nor my father knew about the accelerator trick, so we beat him without using it. xD We'd just get infront of him early and get him to kick us along. But if he crossed on the first lap before we did, we knew we'd lose.
@irresistiblemerrick xD I don't think I'd be able to do it now - especially on an emulator. It took us forever to beat Wizpig without the boost trick, so impossible we figured the best way was to get him to kick us across the log area, basically.
this race is soo damn easy...i got three purple instead of green boosts and even landed in the water one time and still beat him with no problems...
what almost all of you are doing wrong: when you get onto a zipper and get a boost, you press A again immediately. Only press it when the boost has completely worn off and it will last MUCH longer.

2. Make sure you lay off the gas just before you hit the zippers
(Your exhaust plume should be green)
3. Make sure you hit the zipper in the direction you want to be moving.
4. If you don't dot steps 2 AND 3 then you will not get the maxium out of your zippers i.e. the boost wont last as long
5. Your lap times should be between 30-31 secs

Racing Wizpig the first time is not hard. All you have to do is keep pressing A instead of holding it to go faster. I beat Wizpig like 10 times in one day because i was bored. I want to see someone unlock t.t. Now that's hard to do

Racing in Wizpig's Course is quite the same as racing in Bluey's Course. And believe me, a lot of people still have trouble trying to beat the walrus using Pipsy the second time he is raced. It's because her top speed is very low. She has lowest speed out of the other characters, which is why the walrus is the hardest boss for her to beat.

Tip 3 is VITAL to winning. I tried a million times, then started straightening my path after every zipper; on my first try this time, I beat him with ease. It is especially important to apply on the second and third zippers.

@auzziesamurai It doesn't say it in the game, but you can test it for yourself just by letting go of the accelerator before you activate any sort of speed boost.

yes but conkers BFD was first twelve tales: conker 64 but it was too much like banjo kazooie or most of the other plattformers for children and the audience wanted more adult games so rare made an adult game and that became conkers bfd

@ariseofpaininme oh i know when they showed off conkers twelve tales people where like this is way to kiddy so rare whom already had most of that game scrapped it and out came conkers BFD and a year later banjo kazooie. as for Rare now they kinda suck Perfect Dark Zero was meh Kameo,Viva Piniata where not bad. banjo kazooie NnB was a huge letdown. but there xbla remakes for banjo kazooie\tooie and perfect dark where awesome and i fucking love 'em. now conker and jet force gemini gota be remade.

@sneskegagama conker and banjo's game were already in development for the n64 when this came out Rare just put them on dkr to familiarize gamers with the characters (conker's game was actually a whole nother game from BFD called 12 Tails: Conker 64 it was to another cutesy platformer but the idea was scrapped when they felt that the games quality did not rareware's standards. Conker pocket tails is a totally different game and was not supposed to be Conkers first major release.

Well i prefer pupsy or diddy for any races, except with the hovercraft, somehow i prefer using a heavy but hight speed one like banjo, i beated this pig at 8 , when i was getting, at first was hard, the firs thing that got into my mind was "OMG, how in earth make that big fat pig , run like that o_O?", and obviusly, losed de first try, i learned the boost trick in the space world, after beating him in earth

This is a really easy race. By this point you should have Drumstick, who's the fastest racer in the game. Aside from that the accelerator boosts make it almost impossible to lose.
I remember when I was like 5 and I beat this game, this race was ridiculous because neither me nor my father knew about the accelerator trick, so we beat him without using it. xD We'd just get infront of him early and get him to kick us along. But if he crossed on the first lap before we did, we knew we'd lose.

@irresistiblemerrick xD I don't think I'd be able to do it now - especially on an emulator. It took us forever to beat Wizpig without the boost trick, so impossible we figured the best way was to get him to kick us across the log area, basically.

this race is soo damn easy...i got three purple instead of green boosts and even landed in the water one time and still beat him with no problems...
what almost all of you are doing wrong: when you get onto a zipper and get a boost, you press A again immediately. Only press it when the boost has completely worn off and it will last MUCH longer.

but you can just try it out...
get pipsy or diddy or whatever(best someone with high acceleration rate)....
and switch to the speedo instead of the map. let go of A before you hit a zipper and only press it again if you are like at 70-80 mph
