These can only be imposed by the senior officer, so the fact that all these guys knew was that you weren't allowed to go through there is irrelevant, it's what they've been told not to allow, so they're following the orders given to them.

I'd be surprised if they could recite the actual law verbatim. I think the video just illustrates the compartmentalisation of society with regards to policing.
It's a case of "Just doing my job, take it up with the boss" and it's meant to be that way, people work more effectively. You people really think you should never question the police? Are they gods or something? Have you people never heard of the phone hacking scandal? I'll summarise for you, THE POLICE ARE CORRUPT!

@snaz27 Thank you, I can understand how easy it was for hitler to make his people see themselves as doing the right thing. Brainwashed with no inclination of what the law and legislation is and prefer to stay that way. Ignorant dumb people. George Carlin described them very well.
Still the fight goes on and hopefully enough people can see such videos and start to learn for themselves what this is all about. The police are corrupt and look after each other.
