Umm, Actually, you're kind of mistaken... Sekhmet DID become Hathor. So this film is accurate... Except that Ra didn't use wine to intoxicate Sekhmet... He used beer and a red food dye (Which I have forgotten what it was at the moment...) to make the beer look like blood. And it wasn't in jars either... Ra poured it all on the ground when Sekhmet was passing through the land.
Sorry.^_^; (This is my normal account, this is Onigiri) The textbook I read this "myth" in said wine. But I think that was okay. I felt compelled to make it a jug for the following reasons:
1. It was easier to convey that it really wasn't blood.
2. I had to present this to highschool freshmen. If I had her licking stuff off the ground the pose might have been to suggestive. They have an unfortunate habbit of bothering me about the stupidest things.
