man that car sound good...i got a 350 in my car now but i got a 455bored .30 like you any suggestions??? what kinda heads,pistons,1.55 or 1.6 rockers,rear gears you have ...did you have to put a stall converter with your cam??? there so many chevy guys around me im scarred to let these dummies put my motor together cause i now buicks are sensitive about cam bearings and oil mods....
Very nice just added a shift kit to my buick and an aluminium intake , a 750 double pumper from edelbrock.I have thrush mufflers on mine it sounds great I am hoping this year to put a set of hooker headers and victor jr heads...LOL these cars are never finished there is always something for your skylark to make it a little better...Great job brother..
Since this video was made. I've pulled the heads for some more work, Installed a new TA SP1 single plane intake and cleaned up and painted the valve covers a matching red. It looks and runs better but still has noisey valvetrain. I'm just driving it occasionally and enjoying it. Even though it's kinda ratty I get many thumbs up while tooling around in it on the weekends.

Haha...my car did the same thing, clackity clakity clack. My aluminum rockers were junk(being non-adjustable). I ditched them for some new steel ones, clack is goneee thank God

Actually my "ratty" comment was meant in comparison to some of the high buck restos and such at the car shows and cruise ins.
And good guess but wrong. They're the long case 3" Dynomax super turbos. They've been on the car along with the same pipes since 1999.
I need to do another video to show the motor now. I almost started it up today.
