@djmrnelson This is Mixtrak Pro, only major difference is built in audiocard, RCA outputs and headphone/mic inputs. With the Mixtrak you usually need external soundcard if you are using a laptop. But not with the Pro. Also, they are becoming harder to find, don't know if that is due to the problems in Japan! So if you find one, get it!

I have Bose companion speakers.. can i plug those into the mixtrack pro? or do i have to plug it into my computer or laptop for the sound to come out ?

@intheair35 you can plug it either way depending on the speaker connecters

if the speaker connecters are RCA then it can be plugged into the mixtrack. if the speaker is a 3.5mm jack then that can fit into the computer but you would need to change the primary output to the computers soundcard..... hope this helped

@SoundsLikeFunNYC get the mixtrack and the soundcard seperately. it'll come to the same price, function exactly the same, and be more reliable since if one breaks, you don't have to buy the whole thing new

The virtual dj that comes with it is the L.E (light edition) it has the basics in the program and does work but limited . however the Virtual Dj 6.1 or 7 has the best features and works wonders. I enjoy working with virtual dj . stay tuned for videos on the full review coming soon.
