  • this guy works fast!

  • Like it simple but good

  • very well done. simple and versatile design

  • WOW!! You really should cut back on the coffee there.

  • Two years down the track, and still impressive! Well done. Have you come up with any more ideas or designs?

  • @goldenscales I've toyed with designs but, I have not come up with a real winner. I'll have to keep trying.

  • This is a great design, easily carried in a rucksack. But, these cans are lined with some sort of plastic that usually has a high amount of BPA. Heating those cans would release more of that BPA. Upgrade to different materials. But still very effective, I like this design. You have my thumbs up.

  • i've heard of people getting diseases and sicknesses from eating out of cans that food comes in too much. but nonetheless this is a pretty clever setup

  • @killiotta1 Yes, eating from cans is not the healthy way to go. I would not use this method every day unless it was the only option.

  • @Phantasmos Thanks, I do a lot of music free videos on my Ghostkamo channel. This channel has many of my first videos from when I had a cheap camera and was experimenting with different ways to make videos.

  • HOBO Stove done right.

  • I like how you can just find some twigs or a rotten log and wham- you got hobo stove fuel.

  • Bravo...

  • nice design, simple and cheap!

  • Nice video!

  • nice design i will make one soon and i love that design cuz u cna use as a wind screen for the soda can alcohol stove.

    THANKS!!! 5/5

  • Thanks for not getting your ego out and boasting like the rest, pure demonstration, love it ;)

  • Thanks, I like things that get to the point quickly. I doubt people want to here much of what I have to say. Then again, it's amazing what some people want on the tube like those shaytards or whatever they call themselves.

  • @Kamoyaker Well along with shaytards you have the vlogbrothers who are awesome!! It just depends on what vloggers are saying.

  • awesome!

  • Hey thanks, I use this a lot and keep a couple ready to go. I like the more refined stuff but, for me it's mostly the simple, practical and easy to replace stuff.

  • Can't believe I never saw this before!! Great stove!! Awesome Job!! 5/5

  • Thanks, I actually like this one a lot. I keep a couple ready to go.

Must add some air vents to the back sides if using the stove with the cup at lower positions.

  • add some air holes just to keep the fire hotter, good job otherwise man. Didn't think about using an exacto knife, I used a friggin hacksaw lol

  • Yes, I try different hole sizes and placements, I haven't settled on a certain set up yet. The razor knives work very well, but keep the fingers clear, they can be tricky.

  • well, adding 6 rows vertically around the can of holes about 1/2 and inch in diameter seems to work pretty good. Though it may seem more incontrollable, the more holes, the hotter the flame, and you won't be required to blow into the stove.

  • Thanks, I like How To videos because there is often a little tip or method that we are reminded of or that we didn't think of.

  • That was very interesting, and also a very easy way to build a hobo stove. Thanks for the How To Video.
