  • damn, how under driven is the blower? that top pulley is a huge no boost fairgrounds pulley. Jump it up to around 19% over and then you'll be making a little boost. Looks like 20% under with that huge ass pulley.

  • 400 ah, thats what im getting for my 74 pickup. 400 are sweet. loads of torque. i aint got money for a blower but im thinkin 700 cfm double pumper?

  • DONT DROP THE FUCKIN BEER!!!!

  • This vid should be renamed to blown 400sbc with s10 pickup.

  • All Business !!!!!!!!!!!

  • sounds good, but i'd rather have a 327 w/ a turbo charger, supercharger put a lot of strain on the engine where a turbo charger runs more of the trans and rear end, the engine dont mean shit if you dont have the right trans and hoghead(rearend), ford rearends are the best

  • @jjakabigb Turbos are cool if you have time for them to spool up

  • that sound wicked.but it also sound way lean. is it?

  • it has a sweet hunt

  • sounds fucking ridiculous. i love it

  • sounds like my old 77 monte carlo, it had a 6-71 gotta love the high pitch whine

  • Where did you mont your fuel cell and how big is it

  • We mounted the fuel cells on the bed wall behind the seat. There was two 5 gallon tanks

  • damn that guys crazy lol

  • im 16, with an s15 jimmy, an im finishin up what will be the last motor to go in my ride, 388, all 4340 eagle metal in the bottom end, 220cc heads, and im wanting to throw a 6-71 on it, but the only thing im not sure about is the clearence of the radiator....anything have to be redone to make it fit, other than what's already been done to fit a v8 in the ride in the first place?

  • yea run a 2 inch wide belt and tuck rad under rad support . better have a 8-1 or lower piston in it.

  • got all that covered i think, my brother works at a speed shop two towns over, we got the motor covered, jus not sure on the clearences. thanks for the help!

  • yes it will studfever just need to under drive the 871

  • will the 8-71 S/C fit on a 383

  • that thing sounds nasty!, have you ran it down the strip yet?

  • wow street legal alky?

  • @woodyate Yes this truck was street legal........until I changed the exhuast to headers that dump out behind the front wheels. Price of fuel was a little high to take a trip to the store....

  • bad asssss!!

  • thats fucking aswom i love it

  • what a waste of time and money, I LOVE IT!!! lets hear it opened up. how would you walk on it without turning the frame into a pretzle?

  • We opened it up a few times at Bradenton

It has a well built frame with a 4 link rear. The truck was all steel, so it was heavy. We took the motor out and put it in our 32 Bantam Altered.

  • now could you imagine sittin at the stop light in your mini van with screamin kids and jucie boxes flyin around and see grandpa pull up next to you in that .. lol just smile and wave

  • @iwannagofast82 This ol Grandpa has a 81 C10 with a 388 Stroker, ported polished vet heads, cammed, air gap intake, and much much much more. Gotta admit it is fun pullin up to stop lights next to young folk and smilin and wavin hehehehe. And of course my bald head is thrown in for free LMAO! :) Once a hot rodder always a hot rodder!!!!

  • @hunter4u100

amen brother i'm young and proud to be an all american gear head

  • everyone calls them blowers. I think you hang out with funny people who call them by their proper name lol

  • damn thats sounds bad!!

  • wow nice way to take a grandpas truck and make it scream :) love it wish i could make one like it im trying to find a shell

  • well, this truck is for sale......minus the motor and trans....the truck is set up for a sbc engine. We put the motor and trans in our altered

  • wish i would've known that 2 weeks ago lol i bought a 89 s10 350 man that one looks nice to

  • are you talking about just the cab and bed and fenders? because i have an 88 that im tring to part out

  • lol we should be taking my dads mustang to runday sunday on the 17th if we fix our fuel line and get a tune up by then

  • we will be there......stop by so we can meet......

  • when do u plan on taking the car out next

  • May 17, at Bradenton.....stop by if you make it I would like to meet..

  • how did the car run

  • nice my local tracks are bradenton and lakeland have u ever thought about going to sunshine dragstrip in st pete/clearwater

  • I have gone there a few times just to watch. I have a new set up that is a 32 Bantam Altered, that has this motor from the S-10 in it. We usually go to Bradenton on Runday Sundays, but we havent' been in a year, due to the building of the Altered.

We was running the S-10 at Lakeland on Thursday's Test and Tune. We started with a roller.......and I just finished the altered. We have not taken it to either track, but we are planning on going to Runday Sunday, this Sunday, April 26, 2009

  • i seen your altered at runday sunday why didnt u race it

  • This was the first time we were able to test everything out. We had some throttle issues, and our radiator cap was leaking water out. The brakes were spongy, even after 3 times bleeding them. My pops and I didn't want to risk all the hard work we have done. I have some work to do, and we are going to try Lakeland out on Saturday for just the test and tune time. We were able to learn alot on Sunday though....so I guess it was not a wasted trip to the track.

  • thats nice i should be going to lakeland saturday r u going to funday sunday at lakeland this sunday

  • We will be going to the track on Sunday don't be shy and stop by to introduce yourself.

  • ok me and my dad r trying to decide if we are going to websters swap meet r to lakeland on sunday

  • how did the car run

  • nobody show up for the event so they shut the place down at 11:30 and gave everyone rain checks. That place sucks.

  • I CANNOT STOP WATCHING. i can only set back and dream. love the s-dime. =)

  • You aint the only one.

  • That beast has a monster cam in it doesn't it.. Sounds like it hates to idle. Lol Sounds/looks great though.

  • Nothing major...This was when we were learning and still tuning. We had it to about 950 hp to the rear wheels with 20 lbs of boost until about a month ago, we broke the end of the crank.

  • That'll make you cry. Do you race a 1/4 or 1/8? I have 75 corvette with a little 358.

Check out the vids on my account.

  • We have a local 1/8 mile track that we go and test and tune, Lakeland Motorsports Park, but we like to go to the 1/4 mile track, Bradenton Motorsports Park due to the truck is setup for 1/4 mile. Lakeland track is 20 min. away, and the Bradenton track is an hour away.

  • let me guess a crossdrilled crankshaft!

  • Just A Little Compressor Surge. Nothing Major. Hook Up A Vacume Line To The Blower Bypass And Its All Better

  • nice! what else was done to this engine? Any times? I have a pro street s-10 and a few videos, I'm looking into putting somekind of forced induction on the engine

  • Haha. You should see my S-10. It's been sitting for a year and has a flat tire.

  • good god!!!

  • Man!! thats got to be the worlds biggest blower pulley..Looks like it s way under driven..

  • That's a 59 tooth on top and a 63 on bottom..it's putting out 20lbs of boost

  • I discovered that I had my two step box on, and it was topping out at 3000 rpm. It would not allow me to go any higher. I thought I was having detonation issues. So it should sound better now.

  • that is one wild looking s-10 listen to the blower that beeeeotch is baaaaadddddd
