An easier way of doing it is by finding the file called "system32" and deleting it. Did it on my comp and it made my comp about 50% faster.

Yes. When you go to My Computer, then right-click, and click on Properties, then the Advanced tab, then the Settings button under Performance, instead of choosing 'Adjust for best performance', click on 'Custom'.

In the list below, check the last box: 'Use visual styles on windows and buttons'.

It seems faster but I don't have any interent now. I enabled the DNS service and it still doesn't work. Also, I keep getting a msg that wants me to undo changes to the systerm config utility every time I start the computer. To choose the normal startup mode on the general tab  to start win normally and undo the changes. What say you to this? Please?

Nice video. But I gotta say, the permanent solution for a faster computer is getting a Mac ;) No freezing, no BSoD, SUPER fast, awesome looks, no virus, it's just perfect. Macs are really expensive, but they're totally worth it :) I got mine yesterday :P
