I just want to know how many crayons you used and what size is your canvas?

@Courtney0Duncan09 the canvas is 9 by 12 inches, and I used up all the reds, oranges and yellows in a 64-count box of crayons.

@BlueCharlotte22 if your going to do it, use an old glue gun because the wax might get stuck inside and color the glue gun

Could you use some sort of sealant to give it a high gloss shine and protect it? If so what would you recommend? This looks easy enough for me to do in my new room, but I think I'd like it to be glossy in the end...

I did this an it worked great. Heres a tip though.. Do not tilt it back it got all over my arm and it peeled of some of my skin :P

i tried this. and when i pressed the lever to let the liquid out. it splattered all over my hands and face. and a alittle got in my hair and on my desk and laptop. it was quick drying. but i hadto scrape it off my laptop and desk. .. it also stuck to skin quite well

I remember this kind of art using crayons on poster board back in the 70s. If I remember correctly the dried crayon had a tendency to fall off the poster board if it came in contact with anything. Did you have any problems with the dried crayon staying on the canvas or did you varnish it?
