Let me explain something to you, because I understand English is not your native language. In the definition, it is showing the syllables when it separates the word out. It does not mean "consume your mate". Consumate comes from the Latin consumma, to sum up or finish. The funny part is that you are calling people uneducated for calling you out. Just admit it; you misspoke. The more you open your mouth, the more you become a trainwreck.........which people can't turn away from. Kudos.
