  • I am a fucking Newfie!

  • Split my sides laughing.

  • that made me laugh, my newfoundland would never do it lol

  • Name of the song?

  • @mn3ei Yakety Sax, as heard on "The Benny Hill Show"

  • i love it.....my newfie is 9 months and about 150 lbs....without training....they will pull you where they want to go.....haha

  • Oh this was just awesome, thanks for posting this.

  • Years ago I took my Newfoundland, Barney, on a road trip up the California coast. On our first stop, he bolted for the surf and I couldn't get him out for a full hour.

  • I had 2, 1 brown male Behr 175 lbs. He had legs that were the size of small tree trunks. 1 black female Shadow 145 lbs.. LOVE BOTH OF THEM 2 DEATH

  • beast mode: ACTIVATE

  • I think the moral is "Don't get between a Newfie and his water"!

  • brilliant,i have a 16 month old male newfie now 11 stone and god he is soooo strong,we dont walk on the cliffs as he will try to drag me off them and into the sea, such beautiful, clever gentle dogs ,our friend has one and can pull a life boat in the sea

  • thats really funny - LOL

  • thats really funny lol

  • omg! the dogs went on pacl to go all swim

  • lol this is amazing, they are called newfoundland dogs for a reason, and if you check the story behind it(to those leaving stupid comments of abuse) they are very strong and smart dogs, this is normal for them, pure water dogs id love to have one wife would too but cant afford one, not a pure breed anyways so we are going with a golden retriever i seen pups for sale for 250 i think thats pretty cheap. wish i had a newfie though my 3 year old would love him for sure

  • I always laugh when I see that video, good choice benny hill

  • Haha!! that's really funny video!! =D Thanks for sharing!!

  • this song was on south park

  • @SirBrianCabrera It's the benny hill theme

  • Newfoundlands are actually considered to be the strongest dogs in the world, even beating some of the characteristics of the Great Dane and the Mastiff.

  • @TerribleProvidence really ?? where did you read that ?

  • I grew up with one of these dogs in finland, he was a rather lazy type but oh soo adorable and he loved riding in our car and yes swimming was a favorite thing also.. aah memories.. he got 12 years old..

  • best yet !

  • Yes they love the water, they actually have webbed feet ,I had a newf/lab mix,the most lovable ,stubborn smartest sweetest dog I ever had,it's been 7 years since he passed away ,I still miss him soo very much, everytime I see another one like him I cry :( I now have 3 mutts and they can't compare to him!!!

  • all retrievers have webbed feet for the record. and sorry to hear that, i recently lost two of my dogs, a lab, and a pomeranian. although we have a new lab, we will never forget our passed away family members.

  • Comment removed

  • Haha! xD

I had one, and YES they are strong, but they are really sweet!

  • I like newfies My dog Carolain a Arina

  • Newfies FTW

  • Ha-ha-ha ! It's very funny ! Cute and hilarious !

  • holy crap

  • Would have been a good video were it not for the stupid sound track. Listening to what's going on in the video is the best.

  • thats amazing! loved it :OD x

  • i had a newfie dog and he ran away with his house which was a shed!!!lolol

  • Im glad to be a newfoundlander, to me i think the newfoundland dogs are very unique!!!

  • Their like the strongest breed ever!

  • you know legend has it that it was a newfoundland dog that swam out across the raging surf with a lifeline between its teeth to save the stranded passengers & crew on the s.s. ethie. thats a great dog!

  • My dog is a 3 yr old Newfoundland dog and I'm actually a Newfoundlander. I'm 250lbs and he can pull me around out in my drive way he almost killed me.

  • Great video, music sucks though...

  • haha that guy gets dragged:D

newfs are one of my fav breeds:D

others are caucasian dog, tibetian mastiff(both breeds are just like newfs-furry bears:D) and also bernese mountain dogs and wolfhounds:D

  • aww they all wanted there turn

  • BUT DOGS CANT GO IN THE WATER LOL!

  • .. what ? lmao

  • The wet dogs are NOT allowed into bars so they MUST NOT get wet. I do not like the damp dog. or dragons. rar.

  • They are not aquatic?

  • dogs can go in water

  • mine dog cannot. when it did before it almost drownded, we had to get the special horse keeper from the farm in to save it. I would advice you not to let any dog near water.

  • humm not sure what that hapend but Newfoundland dogs are know'n for rescue dogs they even jump out of hellacopters, they haves saved a lot of lives getting in the water, and my nan had a golden Lab he all ways went into the ocean to fetch his stic so ... thats who know not all dogs are the same

  • most dogs can swim, and most dogs love being in the water.. trust, ive had dogs all my life.. but yeah you do get dogs that cant swim or hate the water

  • Do you coat them with som special dog oils first>? The probleem with my dog was that it was not bouyant enough, thats what the rescue workers said anyway.

it was trying to bite the water to stay in it up flot!

  • TrevorMcinsley; Don't keep a Newfoundland away from the water. 99.999999% of them can swim, very few of them can't. They have webbed feet and are built for cold and swimming and water rescue.

  • My dogs are not newfoundland dogs, they are some type of cat-fox hybrid from asia, as such they do not like the wet or the damp or the dry. They are angry all of the time and like to reap the rewards of a successful business management scenario but without any slapstick and they dont like him either or charlie chaplin or you. I like you. Do you like you?

    Hello.

  • I never said your dogs were Newfs, but you said "dogs can't go in the water", so I was just telling you that Newfs were BUILT for the water.

  • sorry i ment to say i have one but he bumt my arm

  • i have one he isnso strong

  • yes and yes

  • That was great...I know it takes a lot of time and effort to train any animal and I glad to see there are people that care..but im sorry I LMAO at this..is going in my favs!!!

  • I LOVE this video almost as much as I love newfs!

  • The Bennie Hill Newfie Montage was great! Love Newfies, my breed for life!

  • hey me names jake to by

  • Been there (in the water, unexpectedly) and done that! Love the Newfoundlands :)))

    THEY are Strong!

  • Rewelacja! Super, usmialam sie maksymalnie!

  • im a newfie and im strong and i love the water lol

  • my newfie drags me around in the ocean if i grab her life jacket.

  • Oh yes, Newfies are very strong...

My Chewbacca is it, too... :D

  • This is hilarious! I love Newfies!

  • This made my day! XD

  • Umm, yeah, they are STRONG!!! And they do indeed love the water - I swear they have gills hidden under all of their fur. I grew up with 2, and they are truly a handful but a blessing even more. Nice vid, and I love the Benny Hill soundtrack!

  • hell yeah newfies are strong i am a newfie and i am warning you don't mess with them lol

  • haha of course newfies are strong!

    they are from newfoundland :)

  • haha how did everyone make sure they got back the right dog?

  • Not sure if you're a dog owner, but when you have one. You know which is your's.

To the untrained eye they may seem to look very similiar. Although after spending enough time with one you'll know it's face just like any other member of the family.

  • Fantastic!

  • our newfie had had a wonderful habit - if she 'rescured' us children twice she won't let us into the water again xd

    i love those dogs^^

  • This is one of the funniest videos I've ever seen!!! AWESOME WORK!!!

  • lol cute

  • Haha, that's funny. My Newf has drug me around my yard a couple of times and I'm sure she would drag me into the water too.

  • hah my newfie hates the water! she doesnt even like going in the pool with me! lol

  • does any one know what his song is kalled???

  • Yakkety Sax by Boots Randolph, became famous as the theme for the Benny Hill Show.

  • theank u soo much.

  • Yeah, my Seamus is only 50 kilos, and he still manages to drag my 140 kilo self around when he sees water.

  • my newfie does that 2 my hes 146kg thats overweight but he is very healthy

  • Uhh.. that would make him the largest domestic dog in recorded history.

  • Are you sure he isnt 146 Pounds. If he weighs that much I wanna see a picture of that.

  • My Rottweiler weighs 165 pounds and this dog is a lot bigger than my Jackie.

  • Aye I've been there except I was in the local park with light blue jeans on and being dragged through mud (Hehe)

  • HAHAHAHAHA so true..best solution? just let go! hahaha

  • LMFAO. That dog is awesome. He pulled that guy without any trouble, didn't he?

I want this dog so much but there are no large bodies of water around where I live. What a great dog tho.

  • Nice video, So I have Newfoundlander, he love water

  • what's the song used in this?

  • why do you think it's animal abuse?explain that to me please, cause i didn't quite get it from you first comment

  • It's not abuse, and it's not a sport, dingleberry. these are rescue dogs and are being trained.

    Get a clue, fucknut.

  • Uhhh... Newfie dogs were BRED for water rescue and to pull barges - they actually have webbed feet! Besides, a LOT of dog breeds are made for water - Portugese Water Dogs (duh), Labradors and Goldens (most retrievers, actually), Poodles (that's where that weird haircut comes from, to keep the joints warm in cold water during the hunt) and others; they are ALL in water sport competitions. The only "abuse" in this video is the dog dragging the master... and your idiotic comment, of course...

  • umm it was a rescue not a sport and they love water anyways

  • ok forget my last comment i can't really tell once i looked back at it

  • @nysteve35 um... please do your homework... and I think I saw most of those guys getting dragged in,...yah, they sooooooooooo don't want to go into the water :P besides, this isn't a sport... they are getting trained to be life guards. I know this is like the umpteenth statement, but I hate when people cry wolf on animal abuse

  • cool video :D

  • It makes perfect sense. If a newf sees a person in the water their main goal is to get to them. No matter how hard they have to try.

  • hahah ive seen one pull a small boat :|

  • haha thats soo funy! But well true!My newf pulled my dad into the water 1 day it was soo funny!

  • funny as hell! hahaha

  • I absolutely love this video! It is so so true!

  • For more Newfoundland dog videos search:

    Sam The Newfoundland

  • i clean pools in california and one of my customers had a newfie. one day i accidently let her out and it took all my strength and the better part or 10 mins to drag her back into the back yard. very strong, very gorgeous animals, probably not the brightest though :)

  • lol i also had a very hard time keeping her out of the pool while i was trying to clean it, but she never seemed to get on my nerves cuz it was just so damn cute to see her swimming around begging me to jump in. im sure the owners had a few laughs at my expense looking out their window seeing me trying to work around this huge dog in the pool. so yes they are very strong and yes they LOVE water. when i can afford a house ill probably get one

  • wtfizthis, newfies are highly intelligent animals. but as you can see even in this video they LOOOVE water and they instinctively are drawn to it. They won't listen to you not because they are not trained or are stupid. they won't listen to you because of their strong personality(which makes the soo damn stubborn)...but this stubborned-nature makes them the more lovable :X

  • Wow. One of my newfs was only two years old when he dragged me down the driveway to chase a cat. I was 10.

  • Yes, I know; thanks. Just didn't realize you were referring to Newfoundland itself as "the" island. I'm happy to hear Newfs are used in actual search and rescue work there. I'd love to see them used for water work here in California, too.

  • Maybe if it's fresh water. But I wouldn't put anyone or any dog in the ocean. Jaws cured me.

  • What island? Where do you live?

  • If you had opened your brain you would have seen the dogs are NEWFOUNDLANDS not NEWFOUNDLANDERS and that is what the jest was. Get a sense of humor, please. It was not a poke at Newfoundlanders but at calling the breed wrong.

  • wow what a sight! all those newfies pulling all those people! now I dont feel like I am such a "weakling" any more when it comes to my newfie!

  • almost anything is better than humans these days! Even a useless fricken cat!

  • best breed, better than humans too.

  • gorgeous dogs...this is hilarious.....golden retrievers are neurotic about the water too! hilarious! :D smiles

  • We had two newfies! and by god they are strong...thunderin jesus they are strong...also my grandfather and most of my dads side are from Newfoundland..so if you make fun of newfies...your making fun of Canada, and NO ONE MAKES FUN OF CANADA AND LIVES TO TELL THE TALE MY SON!

  • I've had five, and I have two right now. It's funny, 'cause they're uncle and nephew. Rufus(age 8), has senior moments all over the place. The other one, George(age 2), is just really fat. And strong when it comes to food. Actually, he'll eat just about anything -o-'

  • Are the nice men in white coats allowing you to post on the internetz?

    Dear me.

  • that just stupid what you wrote...

  • Yes Canadians are well known for their wild streak...

  • And Americans are known for their distaste of guns and war.

  • Maybe Newfoundlands are smarter then Newfoundlanders eh?

  • ha ha ha ahhh...very strong!

  • Very cut

  • haha ace i love it

  • newfies are cute dogs

  • newfies are better then alberta people

  • hahaha yes, we have two and i have been dragged face first through the sand by one of them!! they are both incredibly strong and love water, but you've got to love them!!

  • funn yas they are by the way

  • My sister came to visit me years ago and wanted to take the Leash of my beloved Newfie Picton. We were on the top of a snow covered hill when a kid started down on a slay. Picton wanted a ride to and ran down the hill behind the kid. My sister got the ride of her life...she never let go...she probably should have...funniest thing I have ever seen!

  • haha dylan right on buddy!.

  • I Have Never Seen a Newfie do this, It's Hilarious though! If anything my Newfie, Lilly, Prefers to swim in a Pool. If she Can't see the bottom of the water, she won't Go In. If she was in this Video, She'd Be running the other direction!

  • I loved this video! Those of us Newfie owners who have been dragged into the water countless times by our newfies definitely can feel for those owners! Nothing could keep my old Newfie Buddy out of the water.

  • lol, I love it!

  • nice vid

  • jamesjames900. yes newfies are smart... well they are smarter than you. it dont take much there.

  • Lol.. Newfies are Strong.. i got 4 of them! Lol.. and yes newfielanders are smart.. just cause we can outtalk u dosent mean where dumb.. GER "R" DONE!

  • Hysterical! My newfie only prefers the bathtub! I swear she is the only one and at 125 lbs she would do better in a lake!

  • "Are" Newfoundlanders smart?

  • awesome!

  • sweet.

  • You can't beat a Newf! Great video!

  • Awesome video!

  • True Joy!

  • Love it!

  • Absolutely loved this video! Had to share it with my daughter...we have a 8 week old Newf so I just had to show her what was in store this summer at the Lake!
