and six flags new orleans flooded just 1 time due to Katrina in 2005 and six flags abandoned it and the six flags over georga flooded more then 1 time WTF
@thejamster214 There is a better chance of it happening again in New Orleans. Not to mention that the park in Geogia didn't have the damage that New Orleans had.
@Millenniumforce yeah thats true but they could take the lake over there by six flags new orleans and drain it fill it in with dirt and that way more likely not to flood o and i omost forgot and over there were the lake is if they were to drain it and fill it with dirt they could expaned and i hope they re open it because i herd the southern amusements was looking into re opening it also it would give people jobs!
I'll bet the owners of the Six Flags chain were slapping themselves going NOT AGAIN!! But, there have been other parks that have been closed due to flooding. Kings Island was built near the site of the old Coney Island amusement park that was flooded in Ohio. But, when they built some of these parks, they didn't really have floods on their minds, or any landscaping plans at all. They just built these parks to make money, and a lot of them.
Wow, that is crazy! So its still operating correct? Did they have time to prepare for the flood, or did it take a long time for them to fix what damage the water may have caused? How do you test a ride that has been sitting under water for hower long it lasted? I would hope everything is properly treated, including the woodie.
@pierzedntattooed Yes the coasters are working just 1 week after the flood went away. They had no warning. There is a creek behing the park and the park is built at the base of a small mountain so all the rain travels down stream to the park. It will happen again in the future. Thanks for watching
@Millenniumforce In Georgia it only happened once because of heavy rain. In New Orleans it was because it was built in the wrong area and Katrina flooded it. No, it won't likely happen again in Georgia. In New Orleans it more than likely will, but that's ok, because it's not used any more.
@Millenniumforce Actually no, see I live an hour away from SFOG. There isnt a creek. SFOG is probably a half a mile awaqy from the Chattahoche River. The river flooded, and the river water flooded SFOG. There's the Big Creek in Alphareta ( By my house ), so that's probably what your thinking.

Wtf why is the water red
kyanaluvsbotdf 7 months ago
@kyanaluvsbotdf Because Atlanta has red clay in its soil so when it floods the red clay gets mixed with the running water giving it that effect
