@bunnyworld101 Honestly, peeing on the plants won't do anything to them, but you can purchase a pen, make sure it's large, goes ALL THE WAY down to the floor, and goes a few feet high so he/she can run around and stay safe. Hope this helps, and be extra careful with what kind of pen you buy :)
So should the rabbits have at least to hiding places? Like one of those pet igloos would those work? If you have an out door bunny during the winter how do you keep it la water from not freezing or do you have to bring the pet inside? Thanks! :)
I have 2 lionhead rabbits and they don't like me grooming them very much should i just let them groom themselves since they usually run away when I approach with a brush? And also they love to hide under my couches and behind the tv, how do i tell them they cant go behind the tv? (wires are behind them) But the couch is ok.
Hi ma'am I really need you to answer a question for me please :]
I have a bunny, and he LOVES to shred things, so I thought about the phone book Idea, but I've always heard you need to make sure that its printed with SOY based ink...Is that important? and if it is, how do I tell if it's printed with a soy based ink?? thankyou so much for the info!
i have a cage for my dwarf bunny its about the same size as the one you have on the table but i feel like he dosent have anough room so i was wondering where to buy the hexegon you have your in ?
we just got a rabbit, in fact, shes sleeping across from me and is all flopped over and looks very content. Shes absolutly adorable and she loves getting pet on the cheeks. Anyways, they are great pets and anyone who wants a rabbit should adopt. :)
my mom and dad can't really afford to take my bunny to the vet but can u give me some ways i know that the bunny is sick and how can i take care of it
@hamsterhelper1 we have two rabbits and we have NIC cages you get those NEAT IDEA CUBE shelf things (we got ours at target) and we got three of them and bult two nice size cages one for each rabbit. we used vinyl for the floo. they like having different levels to jump on. just please cover the floors made of the wires because it causes sores on their feet. also we covered the vinyl with sheets which we clean twice a week. and we have their food water hay and litter pan in there also we have toys
Eating small amounts of paper and cardboard is fine. This is very common with rabbits and having paper/cardboard to chew and shred is a fun exercise for them. But, obviously, if the amounts seem large ask your vet. And youll want to make sure that you dont think its causing any blockages. Trust your gut. If they amount is small and stays that way it should be fine (and your rabbit is acting normal). But if the amount starts to get larger, take it away and consult your vet.
@winniepooh1396 make sure they get ots of hay. i actually had the same question last night. hay helps their gi tract. for a dwarf to 6 month old it should take two weeks or longer before the paper is gone. for anything larger it should take a week. if it is gone before then then take it away for a week or so and up their hay intake. and if not thats totally fine that they eat it as long as it has no ink just make sure they get the hay.
@winniepooh1396 also watch how they are acting. if they are eating or drinking and pooping less its not good that means they are clogged up. take the paper away and do not give it back until they start eating again. adn only give them SMALL amounts to play with. THICK cardbored is a good thing for them. just make sure they get LOTS OF HAY!
Hey my name us Haley Wilson and Im getting a rabit for my birthday but I don't know where to get one thereof tons of pet stores around but mo shelter so what do I do sighend helpppppp
@Haley21756 well i live in tx and we have shelters allaround here. call a vet and ask how you can get ahold of bunny shelters. thats what we did. we got one of our buns from a store and the other from an abusive home before we found out about shelters...we still are happy we went to the store we love our buns...but just call a vet and ask. good luck!! they are so much fun just be sure you take good care if them. feel free to message me if you have a question about what to do!
you are really great! i have a great problem. well, first of all i adore my little bunny...but i dont think that she does:( i mean i have her almost 6 months and she is still afraid.i dont pick her up,cause she doesnt like it of course.but when i try to play with her she leaves.can you help me?
@silence1n aww that is always the saddest thing. ours does that sometimes because his previous owners were abusive and they only had him a month! just show her you love her and you care about her adn her comfort. let her get outta her cage and sit on the floor in aroom where the door is closed so she doesnt run away. also get her spayed that could be part of it. since we neutered ours hes been doing so much better! talk to a vet too they can help alot and you what to do. good luck!
Well, I personally have a actual rabbit leash, dont buy a small dog leash , you need a leash fit for a rabbit, go to your local pet store and you'll find a rabbit leash, i usually let my rabbit run im my garage but theres 1 part of my garage that theres nothing in it so its safe for him. Make sure all your doors are closed or you can let your rabbit run around your kitchen because carpet isn't healthy for your rabbit, cause they like to chew on carpet so the kitchen is best.
you put newspaper down in the cage and put timothy hay in the side if square of the litter box and in th corner if the litter box is trianglular spelled triangular wrong and if the rabbit goes on the news put that area in the liiter box or type in how to litter train a rabbit by expertvillage

Check your local pet store - they probably sell rabbit cages. Since your rabbit will be in the cage for much of its life, make sure it has LOTS of room to run around!
