As mentioned a pretty nice use of c64 palette and that SID music in beginning is awesome. I'd probably would loved it when I was a kid, but it was 1988 and I already had Amiga and sadly I used C64 less
I noticed the MASK listing in the corner so I think this refers to the cartoon & toy line, see Robot Chicken MASK for a quick synopsis of this series. ^_^
Looks nice, great use of C64 colors. I'd have to agree that the finite ammo and constant bombardment don't fit together. It also could have benefited from a bit more vertical screen space to help the player dodge all that crap. Pretty sweet music like you mentioned. Pretty cool, I've played worse. :)
@TheBladeJunker Definitely far from the worst games. It only lacks some gameplay tweaking from being a great game. And Robot Chicken is way too funny :)
@justaguythinking It does look great. Too bad not much else than that and good music went into the game. I really don't know if it was UK only back then, sorry.
The graphics are pretty good, I think... but endless, randomly appearing enemies are almost always annoying. Good thing you have quite a bit of health though, and I noticed an option for passwords in the menu too, which is great (if that is indeed for level codes and not something else).
@laffer35 Agreed. I think you might get quite far (unless you fall into instant death water) as there seems to be healing items too and the enemies dont really do that much damage.
This looks like one of those crazy NES games that many third party companies might have released. One of the more livlier, colorful C-64 games I have ever seen. Half tempted to say it's an off shoot of a G.I. Joe license. But, I don't know the show well enough to see if there was ever a "Trakker" character. And, it sure beats the G.I. Joe game that I am aware of for the C-64. Not that that one was bad. Just kind of pointless when you could never win or lose.
Reminding me of a cross between Blagger and a side scrolling platforming game. Quite intense bombardment with crap indeed, nice graphics. Must try this myself...
@markvergeer If you don't fall into death (like i did several times) you might get quite far as the enemies don't really do that much damage and you got those healing items too.

@CaseofGlass I am not really sure what year I got my Amiga 500. I got it second hand so it surely was not anywhere near its release date.

@S0ryiu I think someone tipped the enemy off that the player was coming...

@jupreindeer One of the games where you just have to ignore the enemies and just plow thru and hope there is enough healing items ahead.

Again, another impossible game on the C64... No long distance rapid fire? Endless spawning? WTF?

@HypeBeGone Yeah I know! The constant barrage of unlimited number of enemies and bullets is just ridiculous.
