My favorite story featured here is the one about Jenny the Irish lady who has the past life memories of that Irish mother. Wow! That was too freaky and compelling not to lend thought too. Especially when the eldest child spoke about it. Incredible! I'd love to read her book. The rest? Meh. Jack the Ripper, no news there. They should have used footage of Gary Oldman for Dracula. That movie was more accurate to the novel.

They cause distortions of reality, alterations of body image, and disorientation as to time and place. The near-death experience does not involve distortions of reality, but rather the perception of another reality superimposed over this one.

@Nelalipe Did you that? The hallucination theory can explain a brain chemical basis, but the theory cannot explain everything. Proving that there is a biological component in the brain does not negate the Afterlife Theory nor does it prove that NDEs are purely biological.
