@nanananalalala Not likely... Nadal is good, and if he stayed as healthy as Roger did, he could easily do it, but his one weakness is his body. It can't keep up. Federer would've had even more had it not been for his hit with Mono. Since then, he's lost a lot of confidence, and his play lacks both consistency and power. Back before 2008, he hit with power and rarely missed. But again, Nadal can't hit 20 unless he finds a way to win without giving 110%... He should learn to win with 50% like Fed.
perhaps they believe he will do it. He may lose in Wimbledon but they believe he will win it one day. They just believe it and in fact, they do not need to wait so long

Although, somewhere on the island of Mallorca, a certain Spaniard has to be shaking his head at how everyone but he wilts under the pressure in the big grand slam moments against Federer. I mean no disrespect to Roddick as he played the match of his life, but Nadal would have never lost this match today. Nadal 5-2 in GS finals against Federer. Come back soon Nadal!
Nadal is pretty good but not better than Roger...Nadal has won 6 GL's and Roger 15 so far...they're both really good players and have different styles but right now the best one is Roger...maybe Nadal will win more GL's...maybe...but that hasn't happened yet....so that makes Roger the best tennis player ever!...for now :)
Give them some credit man. Roddick played great and never gave in. He did not wilt under pressure. Federer caught a break in that fateful break point. Federer and Roddick played their heart out but Federer somehow emerged on top. Also, Nadal is a great player but if I recall correctly, the King of Clay never made it to the Final in the French Open. So you can never say what he can or can't do. Yes he could've won in this match but he could easily lose just as well. Peace.
What your saying is just absurd. Considering that over 50% of the GS finals that Federer and Nadal played have been on clay, you cant say that Nadal is better then Federer. However, Nadal is better then Federer ON CLAY. On other surfaces Federer leads Nadal 5-4.
@runeloser454 what!!!!!, they played 21 matches together nadal leads 14-7 and he also won aussie 2009 and wimbledon 2008--> not clay, and theres a lot of master he won and wasnt on clay
Congragulations to both Roddick and Federer for playing an amazing match. I think Federer can win 20-22 majors in his career. I also think that this record will last for a long time. I mean very looooooooong time!
yes pete is ACTUALLY genuinely huimble unlike mr "history making" federer. I dont think history will look on too kindly on roger he has no competition! to be the best you have to BEAT the best consistantly like borg, laver, and sampras did the REAL legends. Until he beats nadal consistantly he will never be the greatest.
Rod Laver is the greatest. He is not bitter one bit. He has only good things to say about Roger. Roger cries his eyes out when he see's Laver.Aus Open 06,09 Laver 3 time "calander" slam winner, doubles grand slam, mixed doubles grand slam, davis cup champion..all things Roger does not have. No wonder Laver is still regarded by many as the best ever!
He has no reason to be bitter. He has done everything possible in the game.singles, doubles, representing country, amatuer, pro, open. The guy is one of the most respected players ever, his accompishments in the game no other man probably will achieve. He has in own stadium. Players cry in his presence! Long live the king!To be fair Roger is the prince of tennis!
Oh really now??Well if he didnt care about doubles..then he would of never won a gold medal with his mate stan in 2008 or If he did not care about Davis Cup..he would of never been so upset losing to hewitt after having a two sets to one lead in 2003 Swiss vs AUS. Roger has almost acomplished everything possible..ask him if he would like a Doubles/mixed double plus a Davis Cup..I'm sure he would say Yes!!!
Exactly please explain? Most of todays players dont play doubles, mixed doubles. Even more sad some try to avoid playing Davis Cup and representing there country. Sampras,Agassi had crticism missing Davis cup tie's. Throughout tennis history not until the last 15 years most singles player reguarly played doubles, mixed Davis Cups.Pathetic considering they have millions of dollars, dieticians, physio's,managers.
I was actually surprised Pete was so humble. When he was a player I thought he was arrogant, sore loser. His game suited only grass, hardcourt,he was pretty poor on clay. When it comes to rivals players like Safin,Roddick,Hewitt have all winning records over Pete, Federer has winning records over those players including Pete 1-0 Wimbledon. So Pete competition is weak in comparison!
Nadal will never break 20, his body will not hold up, im from spain and already news that he is having some nagging injuries while practicing.

That's why they make the ad in advance. So they can play it right after he wins, if he wins.
