@ClaireyOK I didn't re-watch the video but the reason it smells so bad in Detroit (and where i live across the detroit river in Windsor Canada) is for two reasons. 1) the pollution within a 60 mile radius of Detroit is caused by the auto production 2) The Detroit River comes from Lake St. Clair which is polluted by lake erie.  The rate of cancer, Fibromyalgia and chronic sinusitis is astronomical

@ClaireyOK I believe that because this area depended on the auto industry for so long the effects on the environment are irreversible. I can't speak as to what the U.S. gov't is doing about it but here in Canada our health care system covers treatments for such ailments. The only thing that can be done is to treat symptoms etc
