Be aware though, we got back Tuesday and they've just started to refurbish the pool area of the Del Sol Plaza to make it into a super pool and play area for the kids apparently.
It's all fenced off and I'd hate to have been in that Plaza although you would still be able to use any other pool - just be aware, it is rather noisy although most of the digging has been done I think.

im going there next july but i hear there is suspose to be alot of cockcroches is this true and also very windy please could anyone tell me abit more about the resort thanks
@kezzaj81 have been there. yes, there are cockroaches for people living on the bottom floor, but as long as you regularly spray with the repellant you should be fine. it is only windy in open areas and at the beach. this apartment was the one i stayed in and the plaza is really calm and great. You chose a great place to go to for your holidays!
@Italia311 The weather was oke about 25 degrees only the water is the swimming pools was cold ,the water in maytay pool is great it is heated

I just got back today! Had a brill time. We stayed is plaza del sol 36 it was our 4th time there. Hopefully going back at Halloween!
