go get high on some weed and just watch the steering wheel its pretty funny hahah and good drifting but its dont sound like a ls1 or rb26dett and a jz1 or 2 can drop in s14s
@skelziex lol well when u transfer the car's weight from one side to another, you have to go from one end of opposite lock of the steering to the other end of opposite lock. But the car's position is transferring the same way you're steering so u can just let the wheel slide through your hands until u want to catch the slide.
@skelziex You don't have to have a lost of caster angle for the steering wheel to turn quickly by itself. When coming out of a "drift" and going down the straightaway out of a corner, if you let go of the steering wheel it will go back to center much quicker than if you were trying to turn it yourself. The negative part is when you grab hold of the steering wheel again, it's hard to know what the car will do and where the wheels are pointed.
get a 31/4 inch bar 2 eyebolts and wing nuts, a dollarstore tripod and a screw that fits the tripod, measure from the end of the headrest to the center consol. draw marks on where the eye bolts will go to surround the bars of the headrest, drill a hole thats bigger then the eye bolts, drill hole for the swivvel mount ( the top part of the cheap tripod) and screw it into place.
for less vibration you can use rubber washers to damp the vibrations.
nah man best and eastest way to do it is duck tape the tripod the the roll cage arm that goes across and mount the cam on that, if u use enough duck tape it wont ever come un done this is what i do and i think it worked best/and cheapest
nah man best and eastest way to do it is duck tape the tripod the the roll cage arm that goes across and mount the cam on that, if u use enough duck tape it wont ever come un done this is what i do and i think it worked best/and cheapest
and if u dont have a rollcage u should get one cause racing/drifting is kinda not so safe without one altho i havnt seena car roll yet drifting but better to be safe then sorry, i mean how much are rollcages 450 bucks ?
true enough but i prefer a bar with eyebolts because u can unscrew it instead of going threw the hassel of taking the duck tape off, also theres a lot of people who dont like the residue on their camers from the adhesive, sounds weird but there a lot of people who like aclean camera for some reason. but yes of course duck tape works too ^^
most tripids have a screw that connects the botton if it ti the legs, you take that out and scrue it on a bar, still had the swivvel and turning capabilitys
Very nice steering input.. or lack there of! haha, that wheel looks like its about to spin right off! Awesome job. And thank you for putting no music on your video. Car vids are much better that way.
ineedmoney183: You sir are a dickhead. noway your gonna be able to slide by turning the wheel yourself, youll spin every transition. i suggest STFU and GTFO
when you went there were you in the military? i was there about 1 month ago and i hit a guard rail on the left just before the big straight. but it was awsome. great video man. o i drive a skyline by the way.
to me in this video it sounds like he is clutch kicking. If you listen closely you can her the engine rev hi real quick right before he starts the first drift maybe im just hearing things.
Fantastic, smooth, and just great control demonstated right here everyone... its time for you guy s to analyze it and practice :)

1:05 are the steering wheel will always turn by itself when drifting?
skelziex 1 year ago
@skelziex anyone feel free to correct me if im wrong, but i think his is very self responsive because the car has a high caster angle.

nahh u got it wrong you duck tape the tri pod on to the bar and screw the cam onto that :)
cause most tripod head can do 360d u can still put it in any position

why when u can just tape the legs to the bar ?
timmy71 2 years ago
well somtimes the tape doesnt really help with vibrations and makes the camera shaket wehich is y u put rubber washers in the scrue holes =)
plus it looks cleaner and a lot of people like it that way

very nice....are you running a hydraulic ebrake?
deltoidsforaltoids 4 years ago
This comment has received too many negative votes show
advanced drifters generally don't use their ebrake.
He's using wheight transfer and clutch techniques.
Frillar 4 years ago
sure they do...check out the video at 0:26 seconds.... and probably other places as well
deltoidsforaltoids 4 years ago
Using ebrake to initiate is only used on certain corners and to make corrections.
Frillar 4 years ago
watch in car footage of ANY pro drifter and you will see them using hand brake. not every turn of course but quite a bit...
keepitSIDEWAYS 4 years ago
yep I agree, go watch d1gp, they use handbrake allot.
