country music is george strait and alan jackson even tracy lawrence, but todays singers make me sick like rascall flats, carrie underwood, and specially keith urban whos beat is not country at all and others trying to mix country with rock or calling rock and roll country which is stupid. country dont need to be upgraded guys. country was born as country and should stay that way. no fiddle, no steel guitar then it aint country. no hats no boots then its definately not country just a rocker

I've heard all of the "new sound" in country music that I ever want to hear....what is billed as Country music today is definitely not music it is just Pop Music with a twang! Give me more of the "old sound"...George Strait is a legend and would like to have more George singalikes...Gabe Garcia was my favorite contestant and I hope he eventually catches on with some major country music hits!

he did awesome.The reason he didn't win is because they are looking for a new sound...George Strait is already a success in country music.If it was for a contest to cover George Strait he would have likely won."making it" in music has little to do with how GOOD you are or how talented you are. There are alot of people making great money performing that you may never hear of.(or you may)...and this guy would likely be one of them.Great job he did!

I love Gabe's vocals.. he is pure Country..and I think he should win.. their are other contenders that are good too.. but i love gabe the best.. he's got my vote for sure!

I love southern folk music, I liked his interpretation, but I just think that track has been covered so many times that when anobody else covers it, it just sounds 'average'. Im asuming you are American? Have you ever watched X-factor from the UK? No country music but alot of good vocalists, Leona Lewis won x-factor year before last.
