@MrErdner I think your work here is poignant and honest. I do feel for your hurting. It really touched my heart. BTW, you would by more than welcome at our LCMS church! Hope you'll consider that. Also, you have a very nice voice!!
I beg your pardon...I, along with two thirds of the ELCA, was not dragged anywhere. In fact we fought the evil forces that excluded homosexuals from ordination. If anything, we pushed the ELCA into finally doing the right thing.
Go to my blog - lutheranism.blogspot.com - to read more of what I have to say on this issue.
@jimshields64 Perhaps because the lyrics are true. Perhaps because the leadership of the ELCA is dragging it to places where no denomination should be dragged. There are plenty of well written, carefully thought out explanations of how the ELCA turned its collective back on both scripture and the confessions. If this song convinces a few people to use their search engines to find more information about how the ELCA is turning its back on both Law and Gospel, it has done what needs done.

Thanks for the video. I can't sing that well, but wrote the same letter to the bishop. Now am LCMS, should have made the switch much earlier.

The ELCA: not Christian, and not Lutheran. Glad to see more and more people are seeing the whore of the ELCA for what she is.
