  • Right on

    Thanks for sharing this

  • Nice comments here. I ate supper with the man many times. I was friends with some peeps in his Band. He was Okay by me. Ate at my Sis's ....whatever...PeaceLoveBlues.....spread the news.....

  • Look up 'the Man" in the dictionary, it just has a picture of Big Willie Dixon.

  • HE IS THE BLUES

  • Great, the best bluesman!

  • now you see johnny rivers did this song -- now does that make him a thief? NO all artists record others great music, thats a fact jack

  • @PATAGONIKat I dunno what that means but its right no doubt :P, Carey Bell rocks here

  • Increible un maestro.

  • Is this the Oldstars OR the Allstars ????

  • AllStars !

  • @JackJazzer I assume this is Oldstars, Allstars was kindda a super group with Horton on harp , Clifton James, Lafayette Leak etc.

  • wow! the best

  • The supreme bass man of the blues Willie Dixon forever.

  • Most kewl

  • Almost the kewlest

  • The "Pen, ink, and paper" of the Blues

  • Anybody know what year this was ?.... Please, please, please, if any of you fellow Blues Peeps ever see a vid with Buster Benton, will you let me know !!

  • Pode cré... muito bom !!

  • Well! I dont think even David Beckham would have worn that jacket! But Mr D still looks good=) Amazing how many big blues tunes he has put together. Terrific artist and bass player as well.

  • This is from I'm The Blues!

Dix is just too advanced, he understood music in much & more sophisticated and advanced way than his peers! , he wasnt a mere Blues man at all.

  • Not only is W.Dixon a great Bassman, blues composer of some of the most important blues ever heard, but he can wear a pink jacket and look great in it! If I did that,I'd look ridicolous.

    Well done, my man!

  • To the man that wrote all the great Blues tunes we all know and love

    Thank you Willie!

  • this video reminds me of my videos!!1 K

  • Carey Bell... on harp.

    Bravo...!

  • A Major League BLUES KING that had his Own Unique Style & Sound and did not follow No One >>> This Champion Lead The WAY !!!

  • Hell yeah! That's what I'm talking about.

    Major ass kicking blues

  • Blues at most truest, finest, and un-filtered. Willie Dixon and those who began. YOU ARE THE BLUES.

  • get it, willie! nice suit.

Pero no sólo bluesman: The Doors, Ten Years After, The Rolling Stones, y tantos otros!!

  • Long John Baldry sang a fairly convincing version of this classic also... (back in the day)! DOC

  • que maestro es un grande este tipo...

    gracias..

    see PAPPO BLUES

  • what a man who is playing harpp?

  • ooh... carey bell:)

  • willie dixon and carey bell... oh, yeah!!

  • Heard a few tracks sung by Willie Dixon, not the greatest blues singer.

But as a songwriter, he was the best!

  • Dixon Dixon! he wrote blues more than anyone else :)

"Blues is the roots , anything else is the fruit" Willie Dixon.

  • I saw Willie Dixon and Chicago Blues All Stars In Sydney Australia (Horden Pavilion) in the 70's - best concert I've EVER been to. The harmonica player was something else.

  • Now this is real "BLUES" - Willie Dixon great stuff

  • Carey Bell... on harp...!!!

  • It's certain that without this man, the blues we have come to know, would by no means be what they are today!

  • He is the TOP!!!! (...and Muddy Waters!) Thanks for him for 'Little Red Rooster'..... its best variant by the STONES!

  • God Bless the Stones, but nobody sang Red Rooster better than Howlin Wolf. Just my opinion, but Dixon wrote the heck of it and Wolf sang the heck out of it.

  • God Bless you too.....sorry, but I prefer the Stones' variant, firstly the studio version, then secondly the 'Flashpoint' concert CD version, with Eric Clapton!!!!! It's just my opinion, too..... (HU)

  • no doubt,the best

  • Nobody could write better blues songs than Willie Dixon! The BEST!

  • Alright now.

  • The Best !!!
