I don't know why this never was released on CD! So beautiful and I know it a song about the bottle but it works so well for Penny too. I almost wonder if Disney doesn't own the rights or want to pay Shelby Flint to release this soundtrack. Why else would they ignore it? I can't find much info on the subject.

I always skipped this song for fear of bursting into tears!! The rescuers was the only Disney film that did it!! The second one was worse though, I don't think I've watched it without crying, I feel so sorry for the golden bird!

When I was very, very little, my parents would love for me to sing this for their friends. That was an age ago! I was so embarrassed because they would all stare at me so expectantly... As an adult, I can now see why. What a haunting melody.
