You can get if for free if you buy alice: madness returns, go to redeem codes when you get it, enter the codes and you can download the original american mcgees alice ( you need alice madness returns to play the game since it wont show up on your list for downloadable games since it's on the disc).

A weapon I've really learned to love - thanks to the advice of a friend - is the throwing knife. It's awesomely effective if you use it in the right spots, like dispatching of enemies who haven't even seen you yet - more so than the croquet mallet, actually, although the mallet gets props for style. :D (I love how much they based this on Carrol's original visions)

Use the cards on them untill you get ahold of the Ice wand. Just keep your distance from them and you will be fine.

No offense: but the thrown Knife is more effective against the Boojums. The Vorpal Blade (Knife) can kill a Boojum with two throws! The only advantage the Cards have over the Knife is that they home in to their target.. The Knife doesn't.
