The thing that brings these games down is the over-whelming number of near-impossible jumps. It totally ruins the game unless you are a very skilled gamer or using cheats.

What would have been great for the first bit of this game would have been a mode-7 Taun-Taun map with the player exploring caverns from the 2D-side scroll.

I actually played this game once. And it never occured to me until now. Why are there so many creatures running around in a snowstorm on a frozen planet? wouldnt some of them die? Jeez
